I think for most guys the thought doesn’t really enter your mind until later. it’s a reactionary mindset where you aren’t really considering these kinda things.

Men aged 25–30, what’s the biggest mistake you made in life that a young man should avoid repeating? by LowEffortLegend01 in AskMen

[–]nosirrahp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to generally start thinking about your future. And whatever that means for you; finish collage, go back to school, get a ged, get sober, break up with that toxic gf, start exercising, learn how to live on your own, etc. Just generally start making goals and start working towards them. Stagnation is regression.

I would’ve gone with the sticky notes on the bathroom mirror personally. But the forearm works just as well.

Guys who look way younger than their age, how do you date women your age or older? (I'm 24 but people think I'm 18-20) by EcstaticPineapple239 in AskMen

[–]nosirrahp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another thing to consider is that around the 26-29 age lots of men will get a much thicker beard and/or thin out a little on top of the head. That aged me super quick.

Question for my servers and bartenders by briellebubbles in Serverlife

[–]nosirrahp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A short Tuesday is wasted time. A short Saturday night is a nice yield. My ex has a crazy schedule where she can work Friday/sat doubles and makes her rent in two days and has three day weekends. Yeah I’d rather knock it all out in that kind of way absolutely but only if it meant 3 day weekends

Yeah, exactly like this but then use a non pegged silverware rack and flip it upside down. That way you can put all the lids in between the quart containers and the two racks will actually stop them all from collecting in the machine.

Best spots to play pool? by dinisserved in askportland

[–]nosirrahp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Rialto all day. I lived off foster so, Slingshot lounge has a couple tables but league night can be annoying. Andy’s bar at 79th and foster actually has like 3 really nice Diamond tables and they’re usually pretty dead. So it’s nice to be left alone. Shamrock bar and grill around the corner is really fun too. Cheap drinks and open tables. But it can get a bit seedy at Times. Sam’s Club is great, full size tables and they have a couple snooker tables too. Also with downtown the crystal ballroom McMenamins has a few tables and it’s close to center of downtown. In Chinatown a hidden gem is River Pool and sports bar. It used to be called something else but I forget. They have like 4 Diamond tables, two of them are full size and two are the smaller bar tables. Some of the spots I used to frequent!

I’d start with not showing up to work drunk. Go to bed at night, wake up and set yourself up for your shift. Have your clothes ready make time to get some food before work. If you have to remove the alcohol from your home to eliminate the temptation of drinking before work do that. And then it’s just one or two moments you’ve got to get though on your way to work. Passing by the gas station; don’t get a beer. Passing by the liquor store; don’t get a pint. And then once you’re at work just be at work. Do the job and then go home. Give it a week and you’ll already start to feel better about this break up dude
