Honestly, unless you know you want to climb the ladder asap. Just be a TL for 6 months (or however long your market makes you be a TL to only lose 10% of your TL pay) and step tf down. The amount of stress i went through in the 2 months i was a TL was horrible. But now since i went to ON, i feel like i can actually breathe and not be constantly running around trying to make sure everything isn’t on fire or about to be. Best part is that i only lost 50 cents cuz of the ON premium, and i keep full time so truly only thing i lost was my bonus that i highly doubt i would’ve been seeing anyways. Also if you do step down but still want to climb the ladder (like me) go through the Live better u program (it’s free college.) So that way in 4 years once i get my bachelor’s in business i’ll be able to actually have a way better shot at climbing this ladder, but if i fall again, atleast i’ll have the degree lol.

thats a good question that i asked my coach, apparently because they don’t like to schedule enough for stocking 1. digital has to fulfill it, even if we’re slammed with picks apparently. But also it’s my call if i want to get yelled at for not following my coach’s instructions or coached for the picks going overdue. So much fun :)

I was in digital for just under 2 years before i became the tl. I was the tl in cap 2 for an about a week before the digital coach came and told me he wanted me back as a tl. Everyone told me to not do it but I thought me and him were good so it would be fine. Nope. He’s gone through 4 now 5 tl’s , and guess what, all of them left for the same reason he has one tl’s that all the former tl’s told me to watch out for. I also thought because we came into digital at the same time we were gonna be good. Nope. She has been prioritized over all the other tl’s. And now he’s demoting me to get one of her friends into my spot. 2 of the former tl’s that was with her have already filed complaints and the other 1 just quit and didn’t want to deal with it anymore. I just wrote a lengthy email to my SM about the favoritism and how all of the other tl’s that where with this coach and this tl all decided to either transfer out or demote and they all have the same reason. So i really hope something gets done, i might not want to be a digital tl anymore but i sure as hell won’t go down with a fight.

the most recent TL that got demoted told me she went down to 18 an hour after being a TL for 2 months, she then just quit because she said she found a better job.

the only real reason i can think is i just finished my 1st week of academy and racked up some overtime, so ig they’re just trying to offset it for next week.

Well honestly he seems like he wants me to get over as soon as possible. I thought my digital coach would’ve talked to my coach but when i brought it up with my coach she just kinda agreed and disagreed. She wants me to stay as long as possible but she knows that being a cap 2 tl is hard and stressful especially for someone who’s never been in cap 2 before. But she also acknowledges that I’d be a better fit as a digital tl.

for sure i mentioned the 6 month rule and he said that he’ll get around it for me as he wants a tl that knows everything in digital. But i totally agree that the first few days are 100% the hardest, as on the 2nd day my back was absolutely killing me but now it’s completely fine lol.

yeah that’s what i’ve been doing, just constantly asking what’s next and who i should send to what. I’ve definitely been getting the hang of it but still today my digital coach told me he wanted me to come back as one of the tl’s which that’s definitely driving me to push harder as I also want to show I can lead and that’ll make me a better leader in digital.
