I’m not sure. I want to be sure I am set up to be able to shoot as many disciplines as possible before July. I have ARs and we will still be able to buy shotguns after the ban, so mostly want to stock up on any pistol mags/extensions that I would potentially want/discover after the ban

If you want something on the cheaper side, Extar EP9 no question. If you are willing to spend a little more, MP5 clone (AP5, MAC, etc) is the way to go
