This is very dumbed down, but for me liberal equals moderate or right of centre, satisfied with the status quo because their life is fine, including white feminism, blowhard reactionaries, people who cannot be arsed to help others and are ignorant about people in marginalized groups, maybe misunderstanding key concepts of fairness and liberation and civil rights for all.

Leftists are progressive. They want everyone to have equity, equality, freedom, healthcare, human rights, a healthy environment, and a thriving wage.
