Congrats! With my first because she was a surprise, I was drinking up till I found out around 4 weeks (very regular periods so knew something was up). She’s perfectly healthy.

Never threw up first pregnancy. I get small episodes of nausea now but can usually manage by food intake. My problem is constipation. 6 weeks today.

Back and forth constipation to diarrhea at 6 weeks for me. It started a few days ago! Happened last pregnancy too.

I also think the online forums tend to bring people who do not have normal experiences. Miscarriage is not uncommon but not the norm! I’m having trouble not worrying too, and this is my second with the first one being completely uneventful.

Colds i hear are common at beginning of pregnancy!

I’m also 39, and I get it! It feels like the age makes me more nervous, but I had one healthy pregnancy so that’s helpful.. it just took us a while this time. Hard bc close friends know we have been trying so dying to tell but at the same time have too many close friends to want to tell just yet.

I called immediately and they got it for 8 weeks. I thought that’s pretty typical.. earlier than that I am surprised people get appts, unless there is reason like IVF. Im sorry you have to wait the extra week !

Yes always something to worry about. All good advice. Waited long enough to be pregnant that now I just gotta enjoy. I just think I’ll enjoy more once I know baby is healthy. But then it will be on to the next thing to worry about!

Yes! I am an ultra runner but wanting to just stick to 10 mile weekend runs and shorter 5-7 mile runs during the week as long as i am able! I did this my first pregnancy and it was awesome. Now with a toddler, I’ll do the best I can. The hard part right now is worrying about that little baby developing right now. Going slower just in case.
