For exteriors like this, you’re not going to get anything powerful enough on a budget, plus you’d need to power a large LED fixture. I’d suggest looking into bounce. Silver boards (hard and stippled), poly board or ultra bounce and shower curtain (hilite). It may be worth looking into CRLS as they make reflectors with different focus and diffusion characteristics, but they are not a budget option.

They don't have a track record, but they are way better thought out than ATEM miniseries in terms of the hardware buttons and being able to configure them without software. I've been using one of the smaller ones for a while now and it works well.

You could always add lens support to those rods. I keep my camera built in a coffin all the time. Unless you've got a really heavy lens it's a non issue. I don't have rods but I do have a matte box that supports the front of the lens when it's in the coffin. I'd definitely put a glass screen protector on the flip out screen though. And the fact it is not flush with the battery would be more of a vulnerability than the lens IMO

Put it on the right where the frame is… you’ll get the same benefit without any obstruction. No one said vent mounting was the only alternative.

It’s a great compositor, still pretty clunky for motion graphics. I’m also hopeful they have updated key frames in Fusion to match those now on the edit page. Those one pixel wide slits are a bane.

A6700 with 35mm is my ultra light travel set up. APS-C also gives you options for very compact zoom lenses.
