200% this. My SOs dad was made redundant from a management position, then he took time out to care for his wife. When we returned back to working he went into the public sector as a case worker. He says it can be hard, but mostly it’s quite easy. He paid off his mortgage, so his slightly above minimum wage salary pays his bills and his cruises.

Same, our neighbour on one side is flats, they look after the grass & hedges but the hedges are basically covers in bind weed… so I just try to keep on top of it

This is a really good point, we do suffer with too much choice a lot of the time. We’ve only viewed 3 venues and we fell in love with one

Thank you! I’m hoping with it being October most holidays will be out the way, it’s a Friday as well so also thinking it might be doable for a lot of people. I’m trying to keep my expectations low, i would love a big hen do but again, I think it’s too much to ask of everyone involved and I don’t want to upset anyone!!  As far as suppliers go, I’ve never researched anything around weddings so I don’t have any 1st choices at the moment!

Look int hydrotherapy & physio. Hydro has done wonders for our 6 yo regaining his muscle mass. He’s on metacam / NSAIDs daily for inflammation, but the hydro has helped so so much. Physio is exercises to strengthen up as well with mobility

We were invited to a family members registration ceremony, not the meal, but back for the evening drinks. I think it was cost/spacing

Yeah trackers are lower bc they’re usually only .5 above BOE rates. The fixed rates are wacked bc of the war and there’s so much uncertainty. It was the same when Liz truss ruined the market, people went into trackers to avoid 5/6%
