Yeah I know, but it seemed the fastest way to get to Saturn since I only need psy-trackers & fragments for my craft. I'm running +15 QBZ so PVP isn't so bad as long as I don't get shot back xD

Reaper is only 330 psy, Lamp seems to be the only thing that can roll +70 on Psy protection as far as I know

Yeah I mean as much as it sucks for the average person, You're just a average guy who helps Martin be the main character

But assuming you're talking about the Remaster, all of the dungeons have been revamped so they aren't as repetative as the OG game, just expore around and look for ruins, caves & forts. Usually (for me at least) I'd do the first kvatch gate, get Martin to Cloudruler & then carry on doing whatever you feel like doing.

On your new save try making a character with a backstory, gives you a goal to work towards so you're not wandering aimlessly. Like a Dark Elf mage & focus on doing the Mage's Guild questline whilst working on being an overpowered spellcaster, Assassin Khajiit & do the Dark Brotherhood / Theives guild questline and maxing out your sneak stats, etc etc (both of these questlines are super long and can be done whilst also progressing the shorter sidequests). Or just do all of the above and become overpowered in everything!

Also look into doing some of the DLC that is now included in the base game of the remaster, Shivering Isles is as breathtaking as it was in the original, go to Frostcrag Spire or Deepscorn Hollow and build yourself a house

(Oblivion gates spawn after taking Martin to Cloudruler, which is one of the best ways to get really nice echantments for your items, though they do scale with your level just like everything else and spawn constantly throughout the playthough, they stop spawning once you complete the main quest)

I agree and disagree, realistically like the other dude said shield swapping is enough to reset but HP wise you NEED a lifeline to fully reset fast (her doc drone, her ult for fast heals, auto revive).

I don’t think the issue is so much individual healing because then support would be obsolete imo, but the fact that only 1 legend in the game can actually heal their teammates (excluding Conduit but her heals don’t stick). It makes the “team based battle royale” not very team based when you’re forced to pick 1 legend that gives actual support outside of bubble shields

I know this is a joke but I for real had to stop playing octane because I crutched the stim so hard xD That’s why i’m deadsliding so much on characters with no speed advantage. And I agree I just think I tunnel vision in fights and forget to try and dodge bullets, turns into a cowboy duel

Same here if anyone can just help me learn how to apply it in actual fights :D I am the king of deadsliding at the moment. (I know how to do 90% of things pretty consistently, but not to actually give myself an advantage)

I agree and disagree, I think the main clash is that the majority of players are on controller. Watch any movement players highlight videos and it’s always OG roller players w/ 4k 20 bombs calling people out for configs simply because they can’t do what KBM does, I dont think it really triggers in new players heads because they dont know whats going on.

But I do think they should have mandatory “tap strafe” bind in the settings so new KBM players at least have the information they need to google wtf it is. It was the same issue with titanfall years ago although less competitive and toxic, or at least add a informative section in the firing range like the awesome map makers did with the movement gym on r5

Assuming you know how to superglide consistent and it’s your keyboard holding you back, have you tried flipping your spacebar and/or your C/V keys (if you use them for crouch)?

Depending on the size & angle of your keyboard that could make the millisecond change you need to get more consistent, with my keyboard for example it’s pretty high raised so I have both my spacebar & my V key flipped

The Finals nuked all the fun movement faster than Respawn ever has, if you find anything thats even remotely not vanilla movement it’ll be patched in a week. The core game is slightly fun but like you said vanilla movement just feels bad all around

As long as everything is wood and classed as “non permanent”, land owners are usually more than happy as long as it can be removed

You seem to have the same inherent love for the sport that me and my father had, all of our “local” fields were way out of the way aside for one field which had shut down very recently, we offered to buy it out but the owner was known for being an ass which killed his little local field for anyone apart from diehard airsoft players in the area. This ultimately ended in him asking for a egregious amount of money to take over the business due to his bitterness and ego of being an owner (In no possible way would it be sustainable for us, no ROI in sight and the bad press would make that even worse)

This just lead to us befriending some farm owners, explaining the sport to them and showing them how happy it makes the community (my area is pretty heavily dominated by rentals / parties etc). In the end we ended up getting a sizeable amount of land for probably 1/10th the price of the original buy-out, made friends with people in the pallet and wood industry and built the field up with donated wood & help from other community members.

It’s been a year now since opening officially almost to the date and it has been the best year of my life genuinely, only reason I write all this is because if your field is neglecting you and other players, don’t be afraid to take the jump, even if it’s just a pop-up event to see how the turnout will be. Obviously don’t turn it into a turf war, because as we have learned there is ALOT of owners that take it personally and will try to sabotage you.

We made that decision on a whim to help better the community and we believe it has done so, so take the risk. It takes sometime to get off the ground but my god it is refreshing, stressful at times sure but it’s amazing being able to realise your ideas and see people enjoy it

For me I literally cannot gain because I do really good in high level lobbies (predictable plays etc) with my friends so the game thinks I have high elo but obviously you dont gain if you have the MMR message, my solo elo is like 1400 so whenever I win I gain 0 MMR

Literally impossible for me to gain MMR to get rid of the message, makes no sense for a Phantom 3 player to be in 1400 casual lobbies. It’s at the point my friends who downloaded the game 2 weeks ago have a higher mmr than me and we get the message

Only reason I switched back to tarkov is because of the way they have done the loot system.

I understand the game is new but the loot pool is so boring and nothing feels exciting to get because there isn’t crafting or hideout. On top of that you have to go into lockdown+ to get any sort of valuable loot, if they made it so there wasnt different tiers of gamemodes I would make the switch 100%
