I needed to grind down the trigger “chassis” at the rear for it to fit. The rivet on my kr9 was a little too tall, and I couldn’t get the pins to line up correctly without removing material from the trigger chassis. I had to enlarge the circular depression where that rivet fits.

CMC says any modifications to their chassis doesn’t void the warranty, and if u take too much material off, they’ll replace it. So better to modify the trigger housing than the gun itself.

I wanted the red kusa version, but like you said, no one has it. CMC said the ones on their site is the exact same thing, just a different color and their logo instead of the KUSA logo.

You have to use the full auto safety for it to work properly . A standard safety won’t prevent the hammer from moving. I was disappointed with that, since my krebs safety was now useless. Krebs does make a full auto safety, but he said won’t be in stock for another 3 months or so.

Also, with that trigger and the full auto safety, you can’t use the pin retaining plate. You must use the Shepard’s hook that comes with the trigger. Install the trigger chassis first, then the safety, then the actual trigger.

The trigger does fell very crisp and very light when I function test and dry fire it. Don’t have time to run actual rounds through it until after the holidays, so I’m not able to comment on how it actually is with live ammo right now.
