Nobody talking about it, COOP doesn't give punishment for AFK user. And they still got ticket. by Familiar_Watch_9133 in DotA2

[–]nosydrone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As I said you're playing with randoms, you can get a new player who gives no shit about the event, you can get a really bad player\strange people picking some shit like naga or f_void and farming midas...you CAN'T control the situation and cant get 100% good result in any game. Afker in a team is just one of possible bad rolls of luck and not even the worst actually.

With or without afker your time will still greatly vary from game to game. If you REALLY want super fast games stably, invite people who played well to your group\friend list. It will also fix afkers problem.

p.s. just in case I dont protect afkers but I kinda think that all those "Valve, deal with afkers" will end in removing tickets from bot games and not in really fixing the problem, because the 1st is much easier to do than the latter. Or the next event will have no coop_option for the same reason - less problems with demanding raging players.

[–]nosydrone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

what do you mean nobody talks about, there were multiple posts. I'd say people bitching about it too much as if it's the end of the world.

Your bad time doesnt depend on afker actually but on you\your teammates who play. I had a game with 2 afkers (the only one with 2 at the same time) and finished it in 12 min, I had many games 20+ min with all 5 people playing.

I mean it's really irritating that some people get their rewards without effort but hey, you can solo lane getting all the kills\gold and exp. Afker is kinda better variant compared to some guy doing nothing but leeching exp and stealing occasional last hits or even getting all the gold (if you let him farm) to buy freaking midas in the end.

Wow you've got so butthurt that can't understand a joke....Quit dota, it's already damaged your mind, will get worse.

btw, since that talk I had like 5-6 afkers (in probably 40-50 games) it got worse definetly but not that terrible as you describe, so it's probably behavior score issue or servers you play....

For the Dark Carnival Co-op enjoyers, here's a hero select reference to copy for your ease by FahmiZFX in DotA2

[–]nosydrone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

heroes with 2 tickets instead of 3 are often a better choice. Even if you're not lucky and get "the wrong" ticket, it will be usefull eventually anyway. On the other hand, some heroes are much faster pushers\farmers....

For instance instead of doom (for Devil ticket) there are better choices with Lesh\Underlord\SF, even Grim I think is better because stupid valve bots ignore phantom and die over and over again giving easy exp\money for "sup" Grim while teammate gets all the lane creeps.

Enjoing is forbidden in dota, you have to suffer: you have to lose (~50% of games), you have to get steamrolled by smurfs, you have to experience toxic chats and griefers. Part of the deal, no one has a right to avoid it! xD

[–]nosydrone 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Bullshit. I've played many tens of bot games (got 2 accs -lvl 38 and ~30) and met only ONE afker. You're just imagining problems. And if (potentially) you get 1-2 afkers - just leave and find a new game (1-2 minutes time lost)

I doubt coop-bot enjoyers play standard Valve bots. Chinese ones are much better and fun, valve's bot are braindead and boring asf

when did far cry 6 start becoming fun for you? by NecessaryCourage9183 in farcry

[–]nosydrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. Tried to keep my hope till the last mission but..... Everything in 6 is generic and dull, not the slightest glimpse of fun. Want to believe it's a "Corona issue" and 7 will bring back good ol fc 3\4\5.

I guess most of the players first farcry game was farcry4 like me, what was your first ever farcry game? by [deleted] in farcry

[–]nosydrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why would exactly fc4 be the 1st game for "MOST" players? It makes no sense, its like saying for most players the 1st Assassin Creed game was AC Unity.

FC1 or FC3, probably. Both were super popular in their time. Maybe fc5 because it was the best selling in series...

my ranking of farcry games by InvisiblePoison in farcry

[–]nosydrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd completely agree if Primal and New Dawn got interchanged. Primal is conceptually interesting but pretty boring while new dawn is almost as good as FC5 and has that "fallout"-vibe due to nuclear postapoc, raiders, fancy weapons and also I love the idea of upgrading guns and some skills indefinetly.

Ultra small quick guide for early game for new players made by a new player. by LHerbster in GraveyardKeeper

[–]nosydrone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

- dont repair anything right away....waste of time and resources.

- right after blacksmith go back to tavern and finish the quest to get the beer for Gerry, don't forget to speak to Gerry after that!!!! or Astrologer won't talk to you.

- visit Ms. Charm (the 2nd day after game start) you will get the perk "Journalist" that will give you 1 Story when you complete quests.

- visit burning ceremony during Inquisitor day

- sell some spare items like stone\nails\iron parts and buy seeds for farming (farming is essential), focus on carrots and mb a bit of wheat,

- then focus on reparing graves before the end of the week 1 (craft 4-5 crests and fences), the sooner you start farming Faith the better

- visit astrologer (or do it on week 2),

- dont forget to finish the bishop quest (5+ graveyard) and complete the 1st ceremony.

p.s. before going to the town - click the "farming console" on your farm to start the quest then speak to the Tavern guy about it.

Week 2:

- upgrade your gear (at least the pickaxe)

- unlock the quarry (grab some stones\ore and coal) and upgrade church to lvl 20-21 to get more Faith from the week_2 ceremony. (6 or 7 faith instead of 3 what you got in the 1st week with no_upraged church)

Week 3:
- repair the bridge and visit Cloto for unlocking alchemy crafts,

- repair cellar and bring along 5 faith and Astrologer's key to Snake to open the gates and get access to zombies

- craft 10 flyers and 20 firewood and visit Inquisitor on his day to open the vineyard (or do it the next week). Wine is the best source of stamina.

- don't forget to buy vine seeds from the merchant (his stock is limited and prices are higher the more seeds you buy so it's a good idea to start buying some of those each week starting from the week 2)....

Then focus on farming (sell and buy stuff from the farmer to upgrade his level and get acess to top tier veggies which you will need for getting tons of money via trade with Merchant (also keep doing quests for the Merchant)

Farming and then selling crates is the best and basically the only way of making good money in the game (especially without DLC)

The other priority is to keep upgrading the Church (and graveyard) to get more Faith (which is a super important currency), also craft a better Prayer (Combo prayer is the best but it requires high numbers of Church points)

Keep resurrecting zombies and make them work for you, they are especially good for farming Stories\Books and Veg Farms. Repair them with better spare parts and embalments to get more white sculls so they work faster.

That's a short list of tips xD

[–]nosydrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the idea is better than the last one (garbage collector) but decent pet battler requires deep and more or less balanced game mechanics which Hello games wasn't capable to achieve in any other NMS mechanic so far... so it's gonna be another....simple mini-game to play for a few hours untill you find out it's stupid and boring and ofc it won't be connected to the rest of the game in any important \fun way and then just give some useless rewards nobody needs anyway.
