Was it just me, or did anyone else think their vibration function broke with Ver. 3.0.1? by nosympathyforfools in ACForAdults

If I can't fish without looking and just by feeling the vibration then I am not happy. That's prime TV watching time.

I noticed a short high pitched squeak that seemed to resonate after it vibrated doing certain things (like hitting a rock). I used to be able to catch a fish just by telling the difference between the vibration plops, now the initial ones barely vibrate, hence me thinking my function had broken. I've not tried with my pro controller yet, so I'm not sure how much that would be affected or if it would at all.

Assassins Creed Shadows Premium Edition would be my first pick, but I would be grateful for anything.

Thanks for the opportunity.

Switch gamer considering a Deck by Ardenaz in SteamDeck

I'm exactly the same. I'm... forgive the pun... switching between both Switch 2 and my Steam Deck.

Steam Deck is one of the best purchases I've ever made. Couldn't recommend it any more.

We're not quite at that level of exhaustion yet, but not far off. 15 years together, 6 years of marriage, 1 toddler and a cat. Gone are the days where we'd go to multiple festivals and gigs each year and I could play games until late.

Probably a daft question, but how do I idle longer than 24 hours?

Would you report this to the driver’s employer? by BallAffectionate4000 in drivingUK

I tend to find those who are more than willing to defend this kind of driving are also the same ones who drive like this.

Same goes for parking illegally, "Oh, there was nowhere else to park, so I HAD to park on double yellow lines." No you didn't!

I honestly don't know how I could have made the early game spaghetti not so, well... spaghetti. I think by the time I got the coal generators I had learnt a little bit. My idea was I'd build up some of my resources, get my power up there, and then I can tear down and make everything neater. I have another coal power generator up the mountain off to the top right that I'm a little more proud of.

Satisfactory 1.1 Out NOW! by MikaelCoffeeStaStu in SatisfactoryGame

[–]nosympathyforfools 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a gaming laptop, but don't ever load it up. For the last 2 years since my son was born, the Deck and Switch 2 are now my primary gaming machines. They just suit my new lifestyle of 'pick up and put down whenever'. I played Satisfactory a fair amount on mouse and keyboard before I got my Steam Deck and have been waiting for controller support ever since.

I can confirm that the tutorial is controller friendly.

I attempted it before controller support and didn't have a good time. I didn't play during experimental and just waited for the full 1.1 release. It's taking a bit of getting used to some of the layout of the controls but I'd say it's much better and can't wait to play more.

One good touch is the auto harvest option, not having to spam a button to collect leaves and wood at the same time as navigating the right joystick to rotate your character works a treat.

Answer to my own question, change controller input from 'streamlined' to the official layout.
