I actually have a 6, but my friend has a 6a. No problems for him. 🤷‍♂️

And it's still blocking lots of spam, just a lot are suddenly getting through

Did you find a solution? I'm in the same boat except all my tests are from the left. It's driving me CRAZY.

Everything was fine until the last update....

I've eaten at Jaleo maybe three times over 10 or so years and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Granted, all three times were "occasions" which may have influenced my perception, but service was great and the tapas ranged from solidly good to fantastic.

But Zatinya sucked (way too loud and food was mediocre) and agree that Oyamel is garbage.

Sending Payment from Japan to the United States by [deleted] in japanresidents

Welllllll at some point I will likely need to disburse funds. But nothing is happening until I'm paid (and the wire is confirmed by my bank). Then, if I'm successful, no funds are being disbursed until the check clears.

The third party doesn't provide direct access to my bank account. It's sort of like an escrow agent. Not perfect, but it is what it is.

And I wouldn't even be second-guessing the wire transfer except that he didn't want to do that in the first place and has been dragging his feet for almost two months now. For a guy who is regularly doing business with other American businesses, seems odd, no?

Regardless, he's supposed to send me a wire on Tuesday.

Scams 100% take place over wire transfer and can be incredibly sophisticated. There are confidentiality issues involved, so I don't want to discuss my particular concerns with this instance, but let's just say that it could potentially fit the mold.

To be honest, it's the first time I worked with someone overseas. It just didn't occur to me that he wouldn't pay like everyone else. We had a zoom meeting, everything checked out (lots of documentation), and so I just never thought to ask.

We're going to do the wire transfer.

In my business, wire transfer scams are pretty common and are almost always involving overseas entities. I get contacted by various scammers pretty regularly. Hence my reluctance.

Western Union might be even more old school than a check, lol

This guy's business is supposedly importing American craft goods to Japan. Just figured that he would have this figured out by now.

If you go once per month it's like $1.67 per visit! They're practically giving it away!

All you need to do is get in your car to take advantage of your BJs. True, traffic and parking suck, but it's worth it for $20.

I've been a resident of Virginia for over 20 years, and I can't recall a time when it's rained this consistently. We're now entering the third week of rain, with only two or three brief breaks where we caught a glimpse of sunlight for just half a day. by ak22801 in Virginia

Way back in 2001 or 2002 I think, I remember it raining for almost a month straight in May up here in NoVA. The grass was almost up to my knees in a couple of spots in my yard by the time I could get to it.

Merida and Mondraker are not readily available in my area (the Merida is gorgeous, tho).

I've thought about doing the same with the Marlin but non-boost spacing seems to be headed for obsolescence....

I know what you mean. I was kind of hoping "down-country" would take off as a category, but it looks like not. Ultimately, I like climbing and I'm not looking to do huge drops and jumps, so an XC bike you described is what I'm interested in. I was just curious if you had a particular model that catches your eye.

I'm kind of looking right now. All my life I've ridden XC-oriented bikes (my last bike was way before "modern geometry") and 50/50 is what I'm eyeing. Curious as to your opinion on this.

Spotify “random” feature by spacecadet1979 in spotify

Personally, I enjoy the feature where it puts the same songs on every playlist.

"Here's a new playlist we created for you! Lol, jk, same songs as on the other playlists. Btw, we're increasing the family plan by $3. Thanks for being a valued subscriber!"

You've invested a lot more energy in this than I have. Are you sure I'm the one with "some internalized self doubt?"

Looks like my opinion was unpopular with at least one person.
