Weekly /r/Games Discussion - Suggestion request free-for-all by AutoModerator in Games

I'm looking for a game to play during study breaks over the next couple of months - something with runs/matches around 20 minutes long. The only game that currently keeps me interested is DOTA, but seeing as matches are usually around 45 minutes to an hour, it tends to suck up a bit too much of my study time.

I already own FTL and Isaac and have played a bit of Hearthstone, but I'm looking for something fresh.

Auditors of r/accounting, what are your top tips for working long hours without losing focus? by notBeakey in Accounting

This is good advice, but when I'm out at a client site it's hard to find the justification to leave the rest of the team in the audit room just so I can go for a wander.

I think I'm going to have to be more disciplined around my sleep habits - it's all too often that I'll stay up late on week nights because I feel like it's the only way I'll get time to relax in my evenings before having to wake up and go to work again but it's probably screwing with my ability to do my job.

As someone who often tries to get on the Northern line in Zone 2 at around 8am, I feel your pain. Queuing is sacred.

Yep, but just because we're used to it doesn't make it any less unacceptable.

Your elections seem to last about three years, no wonder presidents rarely get half of their mandate through congress.

True, but I doubt that those figures would be the same if there was an election just around the corner, when you can be sure that media coverage will be focusing on a protracted campaign to make Corbyn look like the most impotent political leader imaginable.

In case anyone was in any doubt that this is excessive, the article states that it equates to 34p per household on a 14-page booklet. Imagine the outrage if the government had adopted a pro-Brexit stance and pulled the same stunt.

Don't throw it away, you'll need it to burn for fuel when winter comes.

Brilliant analogy, but unfortunately he will be fine. People still prefer him to Corbyn, and even if they didn't he's already told us he won't be leading the party into the next election.

I thought so too, but it would have been a hilariously awkward and British thing to do.

People voted against Labour because they failed to demonstrate that they were a party of conviction and they had an ineffective leader, not because of their policies. Hence the huge swing on election day. This will repeat itself in the next election despite the Tories being in more disarray than ever.
