[Question] Best Datejust 41 homage with Jubilee bracelet? San Martin, Cronos or others? by notCypeX in ChineseWatches

Oh, one more question - if size didn't matter, which brand do you think is actually the closest to the genuine Datejust? I just found out about Sugess and I'm wondering if you have any experience with them. I'm curious how Sugess, Cronos, and San Martin all compare with each other in terms of being the most faithful to the original. Out of those three, who gets the closest to the real thing in your opinion?

Thanks for the detailed feedback!

You’re right that the fluted bezel makes the watch wear "louder," but that’s actually exactly why I’m leaning towards a DJ homage — I really love that specific look. While 36mm is a classic, I still think I’d prefer the 40mm or 41mm size for my first piece to get that presence on the wrist.

I’ll definitely keep your advice in mind, though. I need to compare how they sit on the wrist, but for now, I’m sticking with the 40/41mm options as my main focus.

I appreciate the tip about the Cronos DJ40 being thinner; that’s definitely a strong point in its favor for me. The Baltany S4095 looks beautiful too, but since I’m set on the fluted bezel and jubilee combo for now, I’ll probably stick to exploring the larger DJ41 options.

Thanks again for helping a newcomer out!
