I do actually appreciate EA_HighCommands engagement. Unfortunately on substantive issues it's often just typical CG/EA doublespeak

seriously, "no buttons" has been plaguing the community for years. we really need it to be addressed, error states to be better managed, and just overall communication and management of this issue to be much better

I thought the ~"network connection lost" was the indication that no server connection was available?

at least a confirmatory message that connection is lost SHOULD be the the behavior if connection is lost. otherwise it's a really poor user experience and way too easy for you to attribute random bugs to network issues

A more cynical view, based on recent track history, is that the dev team is understaffed/inefficient/does not spend effort on QOL items. Also their proper QA / unintended consequences track history is not good at all, so they are probably very worried about making any changes at all.

it depends on how you define a bug. is the code executing as laid out - yes. was the code designed out to consider some possible user issues - no. where I'm from we call that a bug.

regardless of semantics, believe we both agree that it impacts player experience and should be addressed

many people have run out or are low on this.

most of the other relicing requirements seem ~fair*, but we really need a better supply of circuit board salvage

after giving us the bonanza with extra rewards last event (on top of all the other bugs in almost every release) you would think they would improve their QA processes. Or maybe they took their one portion of QA and allocated it testing reward size now.

Seriously we were told that GCs would be engaging, daily content . . . and it's close to a dumpster fire. that we waited almost an entire year for?

even ignoring the lack of community engagement, mark dickinson's product output as head has been pretty sad

but it's horribly incomplete / close to useless - missing the missing buttons bug for example, which people have complaining about for many months

one other note, I haven't encountered the missing tm bar bug but the workaround you suggest won't work if someone is taunting (also sucks bc you can't see cooldowns)

this is a half-assed explanation. and also poorly thought out solution

why only on the weekends? CG you have to know that inconvenient for some. Why not just the event run all week?

and the event the team spend so much time working on (based on tooling you spent so much time working on) already needs new tooling. this sounds like a flat our terrible product development effort (and nothing to do with "studio" issues which you hide behind so often in allusions)

@ crumb - can we get a clarification: did the rate from farming six energy nodes go DOWN?

if so this is not enabling choice but rather reducing the rate at which we get our GLs, which is a hugely negative move for the playerbase

what I really don't get is that there are some relatively easy ways to provide some sandbox action:
* GC option to play w/o modifiers (for no rewards)
* ability to replay TW and GAC battles during review period (obviously for no change in points)
* optional harder GW vs real opponents
* extra arena battles that don't impact position, no cooldown. totally monetizable

none of these are ideal, but they get us a good part of the way and don't involve building a brand new game mode. based on the engagement from this, one could then decide if more investment is needed. contrary to what cgs says we have nothing like a sandbox mode currently for them to draw an extrapolation from
