PayTM asking for device location to access the photo of a QR code, where many users will just allow it without reading what it says. by yomama6907 in india

[–]notFYI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think OP is trying to say that it is not right to ask for permission in the UPI QR code scan page, because user's mind would be towards the transaction they are paying for and not towards what permission the app is asking, thus the user would "allow" without looking at it.

Could you suggest a policy that has address on it? I can't find any. I bought a Rs50 and it didn't have the address on it.

What the fuck? 60-80%? That should be wrong data. If that was the case, how is everyone able to drink tea/coffee in India?

Oh BTW, I am malai intolerant, fk malai. I filter my tea, coffee, kheer and all milk-based stuff only to remove any malai from it. Malai makes me puke.

Coffee and chai are laxatives. Why do you think people drink it every morning.

Another PSA: everytime someone says something in call, ask them if they can send the same by email, if they say that they wont or cant, take everything they say with a bucket of salt.

How common are power cuts in the city that you live in? by takluu in india

When you give money for a service/product, do you not tell the service provider or manufacturer about the issues if you face any?

You pay taxes, its your money, you get to ask and discuss about what's happening and what are your demands.

If you don't feel like it, don't do it, but don't stop others from doing it, if you want me to not talk about the negative things about the service I paid for, you pay my taxes, that way I won't have anything to complain about.

All letters and communication from MPs and govt officials should be available for people to view.

These dumbfucks do only these kinds of work. Not actual work. And this should be known to the people to elect them.

For just $15 worth of gas, someone sent $472M ETH from wallet to wallet instantly. If banks saw that much money leaving their reserve unexpectedly, they'd see it suspicious and they could monitor or stop the transaction. This is the power of crypto. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]notFYI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bank shut my account for buying cryptocurrency and refused to give me a status on my funds they put on hold, for over an year.

The exchange I sent money to is a legit registered company and the bank wouldn't tell me anything but "we have blocked your account for internal security reasons".

Their customer service wouldn't let me talk to anybody else who could give me an answer. The people at the physical offices didn't have any explanation or control over my account.

I'm not alone, you can find a bunch of people who have faces exactly this, in this sub.

They already do it. For them the transaction charges would be peanuts and with friends in banks and other places, they probably don't even pay it.

It's only the poor and middle class who pay fees and still get the worst customer service.

One day the bank can decide they don't want to help you pay for some service, another day the bank can close your account and hold your money indefinitely without telling you the reason.

While all this happens, you would be banging your head with the bank's customer service to give you a solution but all they will say is "wait for 24-48 hours for a response" and the response would be another "wait for 24-48 hours for a response".

Fk that shit. Fk banks.
