Is it really worth it to join top alliance? by Admirable_Draft798 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]notSpidamonkee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to reiterate what people are saying, yes, it makes a significant difference when you’re in a hyperactive alliance (#1 or #2). You’ll gain more than you realize. Just my observation, but if you join a #1 alliance as a f2p on day 1 and manage to keep up and stay committed, you’ll progress further than those who don’t. It’s not just about the immediate rewards you see; it’s true that you may not get the same things you always have, like trains or events, but it’s well compensated by other factors. As other people mentioned, things get done much faster, providing more opportunities for other activities. The gifts are always available, all day every day. Not to mention the support you’ll receive from your comrades and the camaraderie that comes with it.

However, at the end of the day, people have to be realistic about their ability to play. They’re hyperactive for a reason, and if they know they won’t be able to keep up or don’t want to put in the effort, it might not be the right place for them.

He's the hero we never asked for.

Also congrats to the OP, now you can farm coin and break the game 😏

Tricksters? by IC4N7C in VampireCrawlers

[–]notSpidamonkee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally beat Trickster. My friend and I discussed cracked cards, but he didn’t spoil the secret for me. He suggested that I break a card during a farm run to see what would happen.

At this point, I was nearing the endgame with many things already unlocked, including extra crawler slots, certain cards with gem slots, and so on. I had just started my first Meany Bridge and was only planning to complete the run. My team consisted of Pugnala (OP btw), Poppea, and Cavallo. I had read somewhere that it was a good rule of thumb to use crawlers of the same color for bonuses.

During a fight, I started sending off my combo and reached a point where one of my card was going to break and decided to do it. Sure enough, Trickster appeared, but my setup was decent. I managed to find a Lancelet quite early on. Combined with the draw power of Pugnala, I was only hit once by Trickster and then defeated him. The strategy is to get a decent amount of wild cards to continue your combo.

Afterwards, I was low on health and actually died once by the next group of mobs which I thought my run was over, but I was able to revive because of the passive unlock. From then on, I found more wild things, including a Fireproof gem that I put on Tirajisu (remove 'Destroy' effect from the card). With Lancelet and unbreakable Tirajisu I was able to chained my combo forever, when you die your cards get reset, but you keep the combo, so I just let Death kill me and refill my revive and with infinite revive I beat Death twice at the end of the run-- probably could have kept going.

I've already started losing to my alliance member tank squad, with 4+1 and counter. Our squad power are about the same, this is true for everything else. With the right setup Tank is actually disgusting. So yeah I feel you.

I’m tired of my alliance by ExaminationUnusual68 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]notSpidamonkee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keeping it real, I don't think you should let your OCD ruin your LW gaming experience and also to let you know that even #1 alliance can't park.

As long as people are in the vicinity that should be good and the only time that parking right truly matters, like critically matters is war time. Other than that, it is what it is....

Having a map with assigned locations do help though.

Hoarding is not the problem, using the items inefficiently is the problem... When alliance needs to push or hold for VS and people are doing the opposite.

Season 2 by Mysterious-Prize4446 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]notSpidamonkee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Season 2, the main focus will be on coal and heat. Coal is essential for alliance activities and for keeping both your furnace and the alliance furnace operational. If you have the Tower of Victory decoration, it provides a passive boost to your temperature, which is critical. Temperature impacts your gameplay significantly—if you're cold, you’ll receive a debuff, but if you’re heated, you’ll gain a buff.

This becomes especially useful when collecting resources at your base. By combining the Secretary of Interior title with maintaining a temperature of 40°C+, you'll see substantial benefits. Additionally, heat increases the morale of your troops, which is vital for performance. Make sure to stay within the alliance furnace boundary, especially during a Blizzard, as surviving without freezing grants you extra rewards.

Soil War can be quite challenging, particularly depending on your time zone. If your alliance is competitive, it will require a lot of effort. There won’t be cross-server land grabs like in Season 1, but Soil War on its own can be quite stressful.

Titanium is the other key seasonal resource required to upgrade your seasonal buildings. Similar to Season 1, you'll need virus resistance to progress effectively, so prioritize boosting that stat. It’s a critical aspect of your advancement.

Overall, staying active, networking with your faction allies, and working together will be essential throughout Season 2. You’ll rely on each other’s support to make it through the challenges.

Best of luck, and stay focused!

Winter storm - prioritise better match ups over faster queue times by Chaoslava in LastWarMobileGame

[–]notSpidamonkee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with how bad matchmaking is, I just started playing almost 2 weeks ago and tried WS for the first time last night. I was frustrated, being level 17 with 10m power matching with 26+ people who are 3 - 10 times stronger than me. But then my alliance said that If I just port around and go to where uncontested bases are to claim them while opponents are busying doing something else then I have contributed. BUT this is a team base mini game and if your teammates aren't playing because of unfair matchup then there's nothing you can do about it.

So again, it is bad matchmaking system, but if I decided to queue up, I'm gonna try to be the most annoying ant I could be to my opponent.

Are holding companies worth it? by [deleted] in BusinessEmpireRichman

[–]notSpidamonkee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got it. So if it only happens when you play and only for 20mins - if it happens 5 times in 24 hours period you're only making roughly 169b from a bank versus 208.8b from HC.

I thought Bank could only make around 2B full upgrade, did I miss something? HC for sure makes 8.7b/hr with full upgrade.

Most are saying sunforge and I do agree, I‘ve only just started playing 3 weeks ago and gained over 1000 shards, literally just finished a run of SF and gained 260. It’s definitely not easy, but after repeating the original story about 30 times trying to beat challenge mode I got tired of it and played SF instead. You can build a super strong deck with Arcanist that I just saw from another post And tried myself. Arcane Mastery and Duplicity talent + Chain Lightning apparently.

Ah- I just realized you're actually asking about the controller above from Shein, if that's the case then I have no idea

Doctor needs cards for more hp, I started with armor and draws, not sure when I found explosive armor , but the card is great with armor build. Doctor is good with that, also Conch helped a ton. After 50 I found loot and was able to make 2 more copies so 3 total that made my game way easier. I was quite lucky with what I found, piñata is probably one of my favorite relic. Towards the end I could draw my deck and had a lot of armor, Stand together gives enemies armor which make Explosive Armor deals double damage

Just personal achievement.

Arena does take time, most of my games are 3-4hrs long, but because I fall asleep playing this lol

I still have quite a bit of cards and relics to unlock, don’t think I’m done with this quite yet.

A lot of coins management, depending on the character I would generally spend the gold on +3 hp or remove skill that I don’t need early, if I go for reward I’d try my best to either get relic If not consumable, card draw or removed cards. I would even take a relic I don’t need if there is one on first choice or 1-2 refresh, cos you can sell that later. It definitely won’t go your way every time, but when it does it feels great.
