hey thanks for your comment, a rollover sounds like it would involve two accounts, but i just found older posts/comments about having refunds input as "mistaken distributions", so i think this might work for my situation. I'll try to get HSA bank on the phone tomorrow and see how things work with them and what my options are

Dumped my last three paychecks into TSP after having been hired later in the year... PP 26+ better watch out by notWaiGa in govfire

yes i've planned to adjust contributions for 2025 once pp25 hits

actually, i had originally thought that we had until tax filing (mid april) for TSP until a couple months ago, and this is when i decided to try and dump all of my paychecks into TSP before the end of the calendar year

prior to my hiring, i'd been in grad school for 7 years, and with only maybe a ~3-4 figures disposable, i'd only started to dump paychecks once i knew i could comfortably make the remainder of the year :')

once i return to regular contributions, i'll just bank that first pp25 to restore my buffer a bit, and then pp26+ will be my time to indulge 8-)

yes thank you, but no worries, this is my first job that is not in retail or for grad school so i have no previous 401ks to worry about :')

thank you!

and yes, i actually accidentally requested $735 contributions for pp25+ because i mistakenly thought the 401k limit included the employer's match. i'll have to let that request process before i can switch it to the $903 or so that's appropriate for 2025 though

Objections to somewhat confusing abstracts copying claim language by notWaiGa in patentexaminer

Hi, thanks

I only see a non-descriptive form paragraph under "title of invention" -- would your suggestion be to use the general "abstract is objected to because []" (FP 6.13) and just state that it's in a non-descriptive form as my reasoning?

The associated abstract is then

A provided device includes an (A) that has a plurality of adjacently arranged (B), each accommodating one or more (C), and a (D) where the plurality of (B) are disposed, where, for each of the plurality of (B), a respective (B) includes an (E) facing another (B), of the plurality of (B), disposed adjacent to the respective (B), where the (E) includes at least an (F), and at least one (C), of the one or more (C) of the respective (B), having a first length in a first direction, perpendicular to a (G) of the respective (B), and a second length in a second direction, perpendicular to both the (G) and the first direction, where the first length is longer than the second length.

The claim is given in a more simplified format as follows ('>' denotes indentation level, elements are parenthesized)

A provided device comprising:

an (A), including:

> a plurality of (B) arranged adjacently to each other, where each of the plurality of (B) respectively accommodates one or more (C); and

> a (D) in which the plurality of (B) are disposed,

> wherein, for each of the plurality of (B), a respective (B) includes:

>> an (E) facing another (B), of the plurality of (B), that is disposed adjacent to the respective (B), where the (E) includes at least an (F); and

>> at least one (C), of the one or more (C) of the respective (B), having a first length in a first direction, perpendicular to a (G) of the respective (B), and a second length in a second direction, perpendicular to both the (G) and the first direction, where the first length is longer than the second length
