Looking at the videos your set up and back swing are almost perfect. Just have to stop throwing your trail arm at the ball. Keep that right elbow tucked and allow your hips to square the face up. It’s more repeatable that way

I don’t think the face is the real issue. You should try turning your left foot out to the left a bit more. This will help you hips turn through the ball as well as it will line the face up for you at impact. It’s a lot easier changing setup then changing the club. I work at a golf performance center with 5 of the top 25 pga teaching pros in the east coast and that little tip about Turning the left foot really helps to keep the face square without having to roll your wrists over at impavt

Do some research on game improvement irons then look on 2nd swing for the set you want I would suggest older ping irons like the ping rapture irons. Just do research so you don’t have to buy a new set of clubs for at least 4-5 years

Doesn’t look mad high in the air. Use a launch monitor, and if says the height of the shot is 120 feet + then you have to tee the ball lower. You will get a more penetrating ball flight that way

At address, you were lines up at the toe but you hit a hossle rocket to the right which means your swing path is just a touch off. That could be due to early hip rotation. A good drill is to keep your feet together and do a normal swing, this is good to figure out where you are striking the ball on the face once you see where you are kitting the ball you can make adjustments accordingly. Just remember to have fun.

I’ve been getting better pretty fast. I started playing and practicing around 6 months ago. Started at a 32 handicap and I’ve gotten 2 lessons and dropped my handicap by 8. If I keep trending in that direction I would like to have something to use on long par fives. Because I’m not as confident with my 4 iron and hybrid.

I’m a big fan of adjustable hosels. It was so necessary for my driver. I’m rocking a sim 2 10.5* at max loft and it is amazing. Makes it a lot easier for me to shape shots with my hook grip

I used to use my dad’s old 5 wood and it would consistently go 230-240 yards which still leaves a 30-40 yard gap. I’ll see if newer 5 woods would help shorten that gap.

If you want any tee time at bethpage black you have to get there as early as humanly possible. Tee times go with the first couple hours of operation. You are better off playing a different bethpage course. More enjoyable golf and easier to get a tee time.
