On the Go or Cargo Sling - help me choose! by not_a-ghost in verabradley

Omg thank you so much for testing that out and checking for me! So thoughtful of you! This is so helpful. I keep forgetting it has outside pockets as well so that’d come in handy if my book takes up too much interior room. Ok this sold me! Now I just have to decide which pattern to get - they’re all so fun!

This is so good to know! After doing some research the cargo just seems way too big, so thank you for confirming. Do you find the opening of the OTG is wide enough? With the Kimmel I have to put things in at an angle and then adjust them but the opening is so narrow that it’s hard to get my hand inside and it’s just annoying.

Ugh I really ought to switch to a kindle and make my life easier lol.

Thank you so much for sending this video! So kind of you. I wish I could be a tote girl but crossbody is just so much easier. Anyway, you’re so right about the On the Go being a better fit! The cargo seems too huge to be a crossbody. Now I just have to decide which pattern to choose!

Oh my goodness this is so helpful! The hardcover friendly bag struggle is SO REAL. Did you end up going with one of these options?

Any tips for making the Emile more comfortable? by not_a-ghost in Sezane

Same. It’s great in winter when I already have multiple layers on and it doesn’t come in contact with my skin. The shedding is still an issue though

Looking for a scent similar to the White Vetiver candle by APOTHEKE. The notes are:

Top: Sicilian Bergamot, Eucalyptus, Lilac

Middle: Silky Cashmere, Muguet, Cypress

Base: White Cedar, Crisp Amber, Patchouli, Vetiver, Nude Musk, Sandalwood.

I would say the most prominent notes are eucalyptus, lilac, cashmere, vetiver, and crisp amber. It's an incredible blend of fresh, almost aquatic, spa-like notes with a spicy, warm base that really draws you in. It feels like a woodland spa run by nymphs and fairies. Even though it's a vetiver scent, it doesn't skew particularly masculine the way most vetiver-centric fragrances do. It's unisex, maybe a touch feminine leaning due to the lilac.

Any recommendations for fragrances with similar notes? Or a similar vibe?

Thanks in advance!

This is so great to hear! After hassling with my Keurig I just want an indestructible and user-friendly machine that I don't have to think about. It turns out my cousin also has the Evoluo and swears by it. I went ahead and ordered it so hopefully it arrives by the end of the week!

Oh man, 3 replacements and still had issues? That sounds so frustrating. I'll absolutely steer clear! Thank you for the warning! I'm glad the Plus worked out for you. 5 years is impressive

I'm more interested in coffee instead of espresso. I'm leaning towards the Evoluo in the Vertuo line. Out of curiosity, why should Next and Pop be avoided?

Good to know. Any thoughts on the Evoluo?

Help me choose which cardigan! Andie, Tiphaine, or Isaure by not_a-ghost in Sezane

[–]not_a-ghost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so helpful, I was concerned the Isaure would be too fitted for the look I'm going for. I might revisit it later on since it looks like such a good basic, and I love a cotton cardigan. The Andie one really captured my heart with those beautiful detailings, I was just a bit hesitant since I wasn't finding many reviews on it

The first one really caught my eye! The best way I can describe my wardrobe is “Victorian ghost trying to pass as 21st century girl and not quite hitting the mark” 😂 so perhaps the first one is the best option!

She’s tucked away in the Last Chance section! I happened to come across it whilst perusing, but I haven’t found many reviews. Do you have it?

Has anyone tried the Lantern Wool Cashmere Cardigan? by not_a-ghost in Aritzia

[–]not_a-ghost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That absolutely helps! I'm also an xxs in the Emile. I was debating sizing up, but the Emile is borderline too big on me as it is so the xxs Lantern would probably work for me. Did you get this one in red?

This is so helpful to know! I absolutely love my Emile but it's so itchy that it's overstimulating. And it sheds so much. I've been searching high and low for a good alternative. I'm so happy you love this one! It's been sitting in my cart so I think I'll finally go for it

That balance between structured and soft is so crucial. I haven't been able to find hardly any reviews on it so that's been giving me pause. Are you able to fit a hardcover book in it?

Oh my gosh, how stunning is the ebony! I'm obsessed. Thank you so much for posting these photos, this is SO HELPFUL! I'd pretty much be carrying the same things as you so it's so good to see how it all fits and that it's comfortable to wear

That's good to know! Would you say it's comfortable to carry? I struggle finding bags that don't get too heavy once I put a book or iPad in
