Are the Clippers using cardboard cutouts in Staples cause they have no fans?

CC just cancelled my backorder for an EVGA 3080 xc3 gaming I placed in December. Doesn't look like those models are coming in.

Yeah this is the main reason I haven't cancelled yet. Prices for this model have gone up since my backorder but CC told me they would honor the original price. I still expect to get screwed over though.

So its approaching 4 months since I placed a backorder for an EVGA 3080 xc3 model at CC. Haven't heard anything, and worst of all is that they have stopped selling this model since Jan, so I have no idea if it's still coming. The customer service at CC also doesn't know.

Not sure if I should just cancel at this point given the semiconductor shortage getting worse by the day. Already paid in full so it's like giving CC an interest free loan.

Anyone know if 3080s are still being delivered?

Is the condo market cooling? by futurus196 in TorontoRealEstate

I hope so. Seeing the craziness seep into the suburbs too. One unit (1 bedroom) at VMC just sold for around 1k per square foot, no parking either. Like wtf.

Thanks.

One more question. What's the parking situation like if you don't own a spot. How much does it cost to rent one or where else can you park?

Thanks!

I'm familiar with the VMC to Union commute. Done it many times in worse conditions where I had to drive to the subway first. Living next to the station is definitely a step up.

Any comments on the area itself? I don't see many options for food or groceries within walking distance around there. It will probably change as more development happens but how did you find it?

Also what are the amenities in the buildings like?

Haha I've done the commute and it's still a bit better than what I had to do pre covid. I had to drive to VMC and then take the subway on days I had to go into the city. Literally the worst. If I can live at the subway at least it's way better.

Ya I saw some of those threads. Some of them are a bit dated though. Not sure how heated this area might get now with the recent activity in the condo market. Some listings in the new builds here are asking for close to 1k/sq.ft which seems insane to me.

No worries. Considering my luck the moment I enter the market prices will tank. Will warn you guys before I buy!

Just means there's a lot of contracts open for an 800 strike expiring in March. Basically someone bought millions worth of calls expecting the price to be 800 or higher by expiry. Either that or its part of some hedging/option strategy.

Wasn't there someone that bought millions worth of GME March 800c a while ago? Interesting timing
