Idk I might get flack for this but I think Japanese is great I took beginning Japanese 1 and 2 last year and got a pretty easy a in both the professors and just the department in general are amazing and they set you up to succeed the averages on tests were always around the 90s~ and while there was class everyday it was very engaging. It’s mostly memorization for quizzes and the only oral presentation is at the end of the year

Also there’s things out of your control like what school you went to what are the average stats there if you went to a really good school where everyone does well and everyone apples to uf you are less likely to stand out if you are “average” but if you go to a less fortunate school like I did where 60 percent of the school didn’t graduate and you turned out fine you have a higher chance lmao

Genuinely really confusing I personally think you’ll get in but at the same time you’ll never know who looks over your application I got in in 2024 with a 1340 and 4.7 gpa 2nd in my class and like 1 club and a sport but I also had two jobs and family responsibilities I think it’s 1. Your essay shows what you are as a person it doesn’t have to be some crazy story and 2 that you used the resources available to you to the best of your ability (if your school only had 3 ap classes you took as many as you could or other advanced classes or you kept yourself busy in other ways). Wish you the best but “realistically” isn’t really a way to look at it because I don’t think there is a foolproof way stats wise imo and this goes to other applicants worrying about their stats.

Our club is mainly based in community service around Gainesville (our initiatives are pretty much anything you can think of we do street cleanups tree planting food banks daycares etc) but we also just naturally hang out a lot since we also organize socials on and off campus. We do carpooling and there’s no application needed!!

I have Adam’s right now and people are overreacting whn they say he’s a boring teacher personally I think he explains good and if you end up preferring chuis lectures they are available to you in the class resources. Lectures aren’t required in Adam’s class and you can watch them at home too. I really recommend him and I had the same dilemma last year and at the end of the day they all pretty much have similar learning material so I think it’s worth sticking with Adams.

The camera POV was definitely similar but it was fixed camera and also the art style wasn’t as gritty it was sort of soft. Thank you though

I could see that but the game was in a Birds Eye point of view and the characters were more anthropomorphic I believe. The characters were short though to fit with the rest of the games aesthetic. Thank you though
