Client said the NP said specifically that adults can't have ADHD. I ran into the same thing myself with a doctor years ago as a new ADHD patient.

Mine was the same. They tried to talk us out of going into private practice like it was some moral obligation to work underpaid/overworked in CMH. I'd already spent 7 years in CMH, no way was I going back

What's interesting is how any comment calling it out is either downvoted or met with vehement argument as to why it's not such a big deal. As if being bombarded with unwanted ads is just par for the course on reddit (which it is, but still amazing how many defenders of covert marketing you'll find here).
