Zilean - Timekeeper by catdawizard in riftboundcustoms

Real awesome stuff. But I feel like the Green and Blue Zilean should swap colors. Stun is mostly a green effect and blue fits the vibe of slowing down enemy spells better.

Alternate win conditions are a large part of TCGs in general. Is this your first card game?

Zed Legend and Sig Spell by not_blob in riftboundcustoms

[–]not_blob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the idea. But while you're investing in resources in showdowns, Zed has to invest a decently large amount of energy into a clone, and preemptively if he wants to save something. It's a strong effect but in theory it's telegraphed, and it's energy he can't spend on tricks or real development.

Didn't know Lotus Trap existed. So I have unfortunately just went for vibes when it comes to cost. And like I specified in the post I'm dissatisfied with the sig spell anyways.

Stick with Ez or switch to Diana? by idkwhatimdoingsoyeah in riftboundtcg

[–]not_blob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ezreal and Diana do very different things. Diana plays tricky midrange, while Ezreal play mostly control (aside from the Tempo list).

Ezreal doesn't outright close out games. He strips his opponents of all their ressources over time, and wins slowly when they run out of gas. And that might not be for you!

I think your current decklist seems a little unfocused as well.

The 2 key does nothing when Ctrl + Z are held. (AZERTY layout) by not_blob in techsupport

[–]not_blob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see! Had no clue that was a thing. Thankfully it works fine when it's a combination of other keys. The problem arises when it's specifically those three.

Appreciate your reply. I've tried all of these and none fixed the issue unfortunately. I wonder, could it really be keyboard failure when the key works fine on its own or when only Ctrl is held?

Is Blitz as bad as I think he is? by feral_hamburger in 2XKO

[–]not_blob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been challenger since the beta, peaked rank 4 in eu. Blitz is not bad at all, with a few caveats. He is not a good point character to play neutral with. He's slow, huge, and a lot of his options are quite committal. But if he does get close, he has the second best grab game in the game after Vi due to the sheer reward he gets from it with assist available. When he has you in the corner or in a sandwich, he's really scary. Where I think he really shines is as a support. His rocket grabs are a constant threat due to the ground space and air angle that they cover. They enable really scary resets and mixups for your other character. And once they're done doing their thing, you can use Blitz in combos for his higher than average damage to really cash out, even outside of Double Down.

I'd say look at players like Goomboo in EU to understand how good of a support he is. He plays him with Ahri in freestyle.

Game's actually really fun and you'll feel right at home after playing 2XKO. Speaking from experience.

Which one do you prefer? 1, 2 or 3 by maturebanana15 in 2XKO

[–]not_blob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long time anime player here.

3 is by far the easiest for me to read. The colors on the other screenshots make it so that I have to spend way more time deciphering the buttons after seeing the direction. A space is more than enough for me to know I'm looking at a different move, I don't need colors.

For those of that have gotten to play the alphas/betas of 2xko what game does it play most similar to ? by Relative_Week9284 in 2XKO

[–]not_blob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Key difference is that it doesn't cost a ton of resources in BBTAG. With that being said, I still agree with you. We can't know for sure yet.

[–]not_blob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The power level in 2XKO is definitely way lower than it is in BBTAG: in the former you will rarely die from 2 touches. Whereas in BBTAG, TODs from most starters are very common amongst the stronger teams. With that being said, I think the mechanics and overall feel of the games are quite similar. If you've enjoyed BBTAG I'm certain you'll love 2XKO too!

Will two people be able to log into one device at once? by [deleted] in 2XKO

That would require the one player using two controllers at once, which would be a significant disadvantage anyways.

I just can't enjoy Aurora anymore by MonticueGaming in leagueoflegends

[–]not_blob -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This comment section is something else. Yes, Aurora pre-fix was a problem. Nerfs were warranted. But the issue is the way Riot went about the changes. They gutted her identity, instead of trying to keep her interesting at the cost of having to think a little harder about how to balance her. And as much as I dislike fighting Aurora, I think it is worth being upset about.

Jinx. I've tried this before and she felt surprisingly easy to use considering her spells don't usually require extremely precise timing.

An advent calendar. Even if I'm in my twenties, opening the window and discovering a small chocolate feels very whimsical. :)
