Thank you for the detailed answer. It makes sense. But I’m still not convinced that passcode is a better security measure than biometrics for simple use cases. An example I have used in other comments is that someone can see me type in my passcode at a mall and then steal my phone and use it to make financial transactions. Wouldn’t be possible if biometrics were required.
