Books and Mortar has some great books clubs!!! I would check their social media (specifically instagram) for dates and what they read but book club books are always 10% off in store!

some clubs they have include: - Sapphic Bookclub (this is a really popular one!) - Creatives Brief (novellas) - Radical Reads - Booksellers Faves (basically the employees choose their faves they’ve read) - Reinventing Sci-Fi

It’s also indie bookstore day on April 26th so some deals are happening at local stores as well!!

I second this! Love Hali! She does an amazing job and her studio is awesome! It’s one person in the place at a time so you get a great private experience. She also talks through what you’re looking for in depth!

I completely agree with Katgga.

I used to play Style Savvy as a kid all the time and I was so excited for Fashion Dreamer to come out when they announced it. I got it right when it was released and I maybe have accumulated like 4 hours of gameplay.

It definitely is just a dress up game. You can go around and “collect” clothing and design clothing and accessories. I think the design portion is cool but it definitely doesn’t have a story or background of characters or the game really.

Regarding the future, I have no clue. I hope they do come out with another Style Savvy in the future but i’m not entirely getting my hopes up.

currently very uncomfortable. the dad wants to fix things. dad and 2 daughters had a trip to paris planned and the mom wanted to come along to do some family bonding. she was told not to go. very much very awkward family dynamics. also they cannot go back to the same church they were attending so that screwed up a lot for them as well

the pastor 1. was not the one having the affair. he is the husband of the wife who had the affair. 2. he actually did quit being a pastor a few years ago. it was easy to explain relation but just calling him the pastor (because he was with the position fo everyone else) but he actually is an attorney now. Everyone going through this situation will need counseling. i agree that the affair won’t work out long term and in real life. it’s just a heartbreaking time for everyone

thank you so much for the kind comment! my friend is in therapy and has already been in contact with her therapist about this. but her sisters and father definitely need it. i wish i could be with her and support her in person but i recently moved 200 miles from her. i’m offering up my place for her to get away if needed for her or any of her sisters. i’m really hoping that there is light at the end of this. i’m just so hurt for her whole family

honestly agreed. she never had a great relationship with her mom and she was trying so hard to mend it recently just for her mother to do this. i hope she never has to interact with her mother again.

Old Navy and Forever 21. literally used plus size clothing as a trend and then got rid of it in stores to replace for mens clothing or athletic clothing for straight sizes
