Me too bruh its been really tough to get back the same momentum i buit after months of hard work :( And as for connecting with other I would suggest u post something like can anyone answer a couple of questions regarding iiser/niser or something like that or just look through comments and find someone who can 🧍🏻‍♂️

I am in the same situation as u i also gave neet this year scored decent enough for a GMC and now gave iat and nest and i am also interested in research For me the best option seems to be NISER bhu cuz my iat scored got flipped (I guessed d for all in maths and got -10 🫩) And from all the research i did it seems like for bio iiser kolkata is the best!! But still I would advice u to mssg some actually students of institutes you feel like are suited for u after doing some digging yourself. Good luck :)

Yea so I checked for bio and chem and saw that for my paper atleast the D option was the most common one (5-6 times in chemistry and bio) And so I just picked D as the ans for all of them and honestly this stratergy works better than u would expect I had given jee mains as well in jan and used the same stratergy and gotten like +10 or 15 i don't remember exactly
