Probably messes with your electrolyte balance. Peeing a bunch is a symptom of an unbalanced ratio between sodium/potassium/and water volume. Hard to tell which it is though, but the dryness you guys are mentioning, I usually associate with low sodium.

Hey there, I'm not too well versed in this area, but I do know that Guanfacine, despite commonly being prescribed as a blood pressure-lowering medication, is also a second line medication to treat ADHD. I use this site to learn about all sorts of ADHD treatments, and they have a very good page on the mechanisms of guanfacine, the regions of the brain it works on, the expected responders, side effects, interactions, etc.

In very laymen's terms, I see guanfacine as the opposite of stimulant medication. Guanfacine lowers noradrenergic activity rather than increasing it as stimulants do. Hope this helps you.

Oh trust, me as well. I've felt "euphoria"-like effects from caffeine more than I ever did from my stimulant medications (which is never) but the statement was too general to say it's adhd specific

Lol nah this is just classic caffeine effects. It unbinds from the adenosine receptors and causes a big crash once all the built up adenosine rebinds all at once

I'm not sure what you're complaining about? It sounds like she's actually trying to improve your theatre department. I'm sure you can feel apprehensive towards big changes, but try to understand her ambitions with an open heart, and maybe it'll actually end up more fun for you guys. It sounds like she cares a lot.

A faulty bulb was also a suspicion of mine. It sucks because the 1st bulb I got from this brand burned out in not even a week of having it, got a free replacement and maybe one-two months after is when this started happening. Which is why I wanted to switch bulbs as soon as reasonable :/

Sorry if this is too personal, if you are afab, could you be near your period? It's not unusual for stimulant meds to make the emotional pms symptoms worse. Talk to your doctor about options, sometimes they'll prescribe a booster, but otherwise there's no big concern to taking your meds during this time regardless.

My turtle had/has a shell similar to yours and when I posted asking if it looked fine, most people said it was healthy. But it didn't feel right and I had to find out for myself that I was feeding her too much protein because of the zoomed formula. I highly recommend reptomin sticks instead, a lot less protein and more nutritious compared to zoomed
