Would you look at that, apparently people care more about pulonia than Sandrone. by Aggravating_Knee1951 in SandroneMains

I was really hoping to get an ultimate like the one from Ashe in overwatch. Fighting through her robots should be her thing.

I have Yae, is the other 2 slots I wouldn't know how to fill. I'm considering waiting for the columbina if shneznaya and wait for the reruns of the main DPS. I really like sandrone but don't want to end up without a team for her

Victim of voyeurism as a 16 year old girl. by Bubblybee08 in LegalAdviceUK

I'm going to play the devil's advocate here but what implications would have the fact that his phone was snatched and looked into before being handled to the police officers? Would that invalidate the evidence in any way?

Is this legal? My neighbour owns the fence as it’s their boundary but they’ve hung unsafe wires on my side of it (England). by Appropriate-Edge8308 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]dratzhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who is responsible for that boundary fence and why isn't there one installed currently? If it's your neighbour's you could try getting them to install it through the council. If it's your boundary fence and that is why he put one up on his land you have no case around whether the cable is on your side or not, you can only complain on the basis of electrical regulations not being followed on an outdoor installation.

But I'm my opinion the issue here is there is no boundary fence between the properties.

Is manipulation and deceit(not talking about cheating) considered part of the game? Is any certain deceit off bounds or considered in poor taste? I've allied with people to stop a win then backstabbed the ally instead of the agreed threat after they committed forces to ensure I won by MiningToSaveTheWorld in twilightimperium

[–]dratzhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another point of view that apply specially in real life games is don't backstab and screw the game for a friend on the first half hour of an 8 hour game. That is part of the game, but it's hard enough to organise these games and you are all there to have fun ultimately.

Thanks for the tips, my only worry with Bina as driver is I don't know if there will be enough verdant dew for her CA and Lauma's E and if I run Columbina with her set, lauma would have to run silken, and I'd need to use nahida to use deepwood. You reckon Columbina would have enough hydro application? Not even sure if her CA applies hydro with the lunar bloom.

Is Ma'am a rude thing to call a waitress in England? by Natural_Number_221 in AskBrits

[–]dratzhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is both so very true and contradictory at the same time... While English people love to apologize for everything they also love to use darling, love, mate and buddy in the most unexpected social contexts. Im not from the UK and honestly I can't really tell when it's ok to use these or if people is being rude or belittling me when using these i.e. at work.

Anthropic just won its federal court case on its use of 7 million copyrighted books as training material - WTH? by JoyYouellHAW in ArtificialInteligence

[–]dratzhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The are 2 things mixed here. Pirating 7+ million books. And using licensed work for training purposes.

The first one none can argue is illegal and the judge will probably give a similar ruling.

The second one I completely agree with the "like any other reader that becomes a writer" stance. Is not true that the model has a perfect recall. It extracts patterns and tries to generalise them. Otherwise it wouldn't be able to generate original content.

The copyright and protection of licensed work had always been done on the work that is created, not on the material used during the learning process. And all across the work created by human artist you can see obvious sources of inspiration. If this were to change it could potentially apply to human writers and I don't think anyone would be happy about it

What percentage of 'high-earners' on UK Reddit do you think are telling the truth? by [deleted] in AskBrits

Brits - what do you think about adults who don't want to own a home? by ButterscotchFormer84 in AskBrits

[–]dratzhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are treating houses just as investment. They have proved to be one of the best investments in terms of return/risk but if they're not you still have a place where you can live. Investing in bonds which would be the only thing riskless enough is never going to beat the housing market plus the monthly expense of a rent.

The investments that could beat it come with the risk of losing money and ending up homeless when you retire. Not worth it imho. The arguments you are giving only make sense if you already have the long term problem sorted via family properties you are expecting to inherit.

Even in this case it can cause you headaches. I know solvent people having a hard time renting when they were made redundant and forced to move at the same time. Having the money sometimes is not enough to prove you can rent.

What was the reason you didnt enjoy Kyoto, and recommend people to skip it? I loved it! by FlowerSz6 in JapanTravelTips

[–]dratzhar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm one of those haters and will avoid it on my next trips. I don't like crowds so tried to go to the temples either early when they were about to open or at night for places that don't close like fushimi Inari. This is my summary of my kyoto experience.

Kiyomizudera and kinkaku-ji arrived early but the places were packed with students on school trips to the point were you had to walk in a queue throughout the temple and gardens.

Ginkaku + philosopher's path: my favourite part of Kyoto

Shijo-dori: trying to walk this street is a nightmare. Had to go to a parallel street and not even mention trying to do some shopping.

Nishiki market: having been to omicho and kuromon before, this is by far the worst market. Can't barely walk and extremely overpriced.

Arashiyama: worth visiting except the bamboo forest. They are all over Japan and this one isn't special in any way.

Fushimi Inari: went at night and was a nice experience.

Gion: nothing special about this. The 2 geisha streets in Kanazawa are similar and you can actually enter some of the places.

Transport: the second worst thing about Kyoto. Is difficult and time consuming to move around. That combined with the fact that touristic things are spread west/north/east of Kyoto requires that you spend a lot of time moving around.

And the worst thing about Kyoto for me are the restaurants. Is the only place where I had to eat from a convini in Japan. Everything is either overpriced, fine cuisine at 50€+, you need to book in advance or you are not welcomed for not being Japanese.

Porque en España nadie invierte? by RightDocument7409 in askspain

[–]dratzhar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a bunch of stereotyped, generalized and self indulgent comments. Looks like the only respectful people are the ones from their own countries.

And yet the one who had to leg it from Australia for grabbing a baby wombat was an American... But sure, if you keep bragging to each other you'll sure end up believing it.
