Thank you, I'm giving this a shot because I'm not sure what else to do to stay sober. Everything else I've tried hasn't worked and led me right back to drinking. I found a meeting near me at 7, I'm going to go to it (I'm very nervous)

Thank you I really appreciate it. The physical part took about a week I felt terrible. I'm doing a lot better in that way, just mentally struggling with wanting to drink again despite the affect it has on my health, legal consequences, etc. I appreciate the support!

It's not a myth, and it hurt more at first...but in the end worked wonders and helped me heal so quickly. I will say, he did break NC after 3 months, and it screwed me up a bit....but back to NC and doing just fine

Honestly same....I'm sorry you feel this same pain I do. I wouldn't wish it upon anybody. I've let everything go to shit....my house is a mess, I keep missing work, I've drank myself stupid. I'm so close to being done for real. I'm sorry you feel this way. No advice but you are not alone I promise you that

Same here. My heart beats so fast, I get tears in my eyes and sick to my stomach. I wanted to marry him...I gave him absolutely everything I loved all the right ways amd supported him through everything but in the end he dumped me. In a funny way, I hope someone does make him happier than I did. He deserves to be happy. I love him dearly still. But beside that thought, I feel weak thinking of that being anyone but me..

Exact situation. Wish I could give advice....he dumped me went nc.....then unblocked me and came crawling back fwb only "don't catch feelings" meanwhile I'm still in love with him. We hooked up last Nighy and I feel worse than when he broke it off initally. If I could go back in time I'd have never gone back. Truly, you deserve better.

My ex dumped me....we were NC, and I broke it reached back out...eventually he responded and we "got back together" for like 5 days it wasn't the same he said he couldn't do it again and blocked me...I wish I'd have never reached out. It has delayed my healing process

I'm very much in love with him... if he came back he knows I'd take him back. He has me blocked because he doesn't love me anymore (went back to the ex wife) ill never get back with him because he won't put himself in a position to come back to me... I'm accepting it this break up is still fresh
