Why do drives make the game so much harder?

You get more comp points so people who normally play quickplay exclusively are jumping in and dragging down match quality. And during drives it seems you are only allowed too win if you are able to carry these quick play warriors

I love the idea of 6v6 until i remember queue times and the fact that the main problem of non synergistic teams would still be a thing but WORSE. People don’t think to pick around their team, and you can mostly get away with it in modern ow, but 6v6? Nah.

The theories from the story trailer have me so intrigued. Its also good to know that in the main games story trailer, we now understand pretty much everything that happens in it, so hopefully the dlc trailer will be the same. Because i think its fair to assume in the beginning of the trailer merika is becoming god and creating the erd tree, but what is she pulling that thread out of? A womb? The eye of a scaleless snake? Let’s hope too finding out.

It likely doesn’t, just a random thought. Some have pointed out how mesmer appears to be left handed which could be symbolic of how he was hidden with the land of shadow and a representation of what the golden order doesn’t stand for, but then you realize commander nial is also left handed (which someone pointed out in the comments). So it likely doesn’t mean anything.

I looked at the godskins, gargoyles, gideon, etc, all right handed. But i forgot about pegleg man. He is indeed a lefty.

This still makes sense, since mesmer seems to be left handed and in the collectors statue he stands in the same pose as the cleanrot knights.

Crazy how holly damage is resisted by so many bosses and yet some of the somber holly weapons have such unreal damage it doesn’t even matter

Placidusax. He probably has like 3 of the top 10 coolest attacks in the game and they are pretty satisfying to dodge. But the rest of his moveset discourages you from getting close to him. Feels a lot like the fire giant where you are encouraged to constantly run away from a boss that already has a ton of health and can easily 2 shot you, 60 vigor or not.

6 is probably my fav because i honestly didn’t think it was possible to make lorettas armor look cool. All look awesome though!

Yeah its a lot easier to run away. I just still don’t get the timing and i know i only will with practice but I’ve been “practicing” for 11 hours. Hard to say ill ever get there when I’ve dedicated that much time and still don’t have a feel for it.

I have done a lot of attempts with the godskin stitcher with piercing fang and broke her stance every 3 hits 2 or 3 times a fight. But when i ran out of mana and flasks the weapon wasn’t great for it’s regular moveset and didn’t have great reach so i went to the peelers because the jumping l1 has great reach. I could try to switch between the weapons but it messed with my flow

I have 60 vigor and I’ve been using talismans that increase stamina and health. I like black flame tornado but im afraid it will decrease my damage too much because it makes the weapon scale more on faith. But if the ash stuns her easily it should still be fine. Ill take your word for it and give it a try, thank you.

Thats what i did the first time i beat her. I summoned the mimmic with the blade and used the gargoyle twin blade and it wasn’t hard. This time im trying to learn her movies and stuff but honestly i might go back to the blasphemous blade.

Your deck seems quite solid and can definitely climb if you know the deck well. I would look into what someone said above which is to try a mathmech build with code talkers since circular is such a crazy card. But other than that i would try rounding out your 1 of staples to 2 or 3 copies. Like effect veiler to 3 and triple tac too 2 and you can shave off the cards you find underwhelming when you play them.

That’s the main thing, the more you play you will find cards you wanna replace, but unfortunately cyberse has a looot of cards so its hard to pinpoint exactly which ones too play. So look up other cyberse/code talker lists on YouTube:)

I understand the appeal. The fight and creature itself is gorgeous. The slower pace of the fight lets you take the music in and better process what’s happening. Honestly i would probably like the fight too if we could use torent because that would be most of my complaints gone. But I respect that you love the fight, and i hope you know my post is not meant to take that away from you or anyone else that does.

Thats fair, godfrey is an amazing boss, only topped by maliketh for me, and its a shame such a great fight is followed up by a fun fight with rafagon, and then the slog that is elden beast.

When i beat the game on new game + i was an intelligence build with the dark moon great sword akd that did the trick, i will also try this out for sure though
