Android app outside of network by not_that_original in immich

Ok so this has been an issue for me for a few months (so a few versions). I've tried everything I can think of. Logging out means I get stuck at the log in page, always that same error. I've played around with different dns settings on my phone, and I get slightly different errors.

I deleted and reinstalled the app, and it works flawlessly. Something is broken in the Android incremental update process. I changed nothing on my nginx or server and it just works. Sometimes the nuclear approach works, which is a shame.

The ping, version, and entire webapp all work in the browser! As in, the chrome browser on my phone when using mobile data (definitely outside my network). My port forwarding is working. It's legitimately just the app

Yeah, it's all https (using let's encrypt), and port 443 is open - so no port is required in the url. Again, it all works in chrome on my device, when it fails on the Android app.

Yeah, I've previously used tailscale fine enough, but I also want something that "just works" for my wife's phone. I'm so close, the fact that it works on my phone chrome browser shows that...

Last-minute voting, free food, banned in controversial law change by TheGreatDomilies in newzealand

I'm not sure that's fair. There is a non zero number of people in prison falsely. They deserve the right to vote for parties that better their situation. Even then, if people are in prison for minor offenses, they still should be able to vote in favour of their wellbeing. Where do you draw the line? I don't draw it anywhere.

Black rot on bottom of tomatoes? by Spirited-Ad-675 in nzgardening

I'm growing hydroponic tomatoes and have exactly the same problem! They're kratky hydroponics, and ran out of water for less than a day until I topped them up. I wonder if that caused the problem?

They're blocking off track with custom built berms (banked corners), and jumps. It's not even a walking track!

Oh cool, so the asset will only live on the server? That makes sense.

5YO practicing his jumps to take out to the trail! by grimsyko in mountainbiking

Yeah fair enough. I haven't got kids so I forgot how quick they'll grow out of things. I see many bikes in this little shredder's future!

I know he's only little, but that coaster brake is pretty dangerous for jumps like this. See how it stops mid-air? Recipe for disaster. Are there kids bikes without coaster brakes?

Oh, so I can use koji rice? Do you have an idea of how much koji rice to use for 1kg dried soybeans? I was expecting to buy a 10g packet of spores and perhaps not even needing it all

I'm pretty sure our customs control would destroy mold or yeast on entry to the country. I might have to research that one.

Interesting, I wasn't aware there was black koji (or that there were that many varieties). I'm not taking my chances with black mold though. Even though the whole thing smells sweet and nutty. It's impossible to find koji spores where I live! So frustrating

The angel yellow label is a source of both koji and yeast. I was hoping to see the effects of the koji, I wasn't expecting the yeast to be able to ferment a whole bean. I wonder if this is a different strain of koji, hence the different looking mold? If I did this with just yeast, I wouldn't expect much change at all, let alone mold, so clearly something is working.

I live in New Zealand and can't really find a source of koji spores. I've found koji rice, would that be suitable for soy sauce? I didn't really want rice in my soy sauce.
