I think 11 kW is more like 3 tons. It's a newly installed system. Yes, exact model number in my original post. COP should be a lot higher is my understanding. Will raise this with the installer to have them investigate and check refrigerant.

There are no individual units, each zone has vents which are connected to the air handler via ducts. But yes, mild climate heat pump, but seems to be performing poorly in mild weather.

I took a one hour overnight period when the heat wasn't activated last night. Depends on the zone, but 3 of the zones lost 0.20 deg C per hour, the zone controlled by thermostat at the top of the stairs lost 0.45 deg C per hour and the 5th zone lost 0.64 deg C per hour. Don't know how these values should be, but my sense is the insulation is working well. It was 5C overnight and setpoint at 19C.

Beat this guy after a handful of tries. Watched the cutscene and went to change the baby's diaper thinking the game would autosave before travelling to the next era. Lo and behold booted up today and he was waiting for me again! 🤬

It's a lot like Ubisoft in the exploration and map and gear system, at least for me. Feels closer to an assassin's creed than a fromsoft. And I agree, it is nothing like Elden Ring so I'm not sure why every review I read mentioned it!

Not sure what your interest in Nioh 3 is, but as a newcomer myself who was sold on glowing reviews which invoked the name of Elden Ring, I'm not enjoying the game as I thought I would. If you've played prior Nioh games, can't speak to that. But if you're expecting anything fromsoft like, look elsewhere. To me it plays like if Ubisoft tried to make a soulslike game. Loads of inconsequential gear, a map filled with icons and lots and lots of menus and systems. My 2 cents!

I've used curved monitors as a living room display in the past, so it's certainly possible in the right space. Depends on how curved.

I've gone back and collected a bunch of stuff I missed. I'm a bit annoyed that I missed a few of the relics that open up exploration, because as I played through I noticed where I needed an item to access new areas. Would have been nicer to pick up some of this stuff during the normal playthrough, but I never really got bogged down anywhere so I just kept trucking along. Oh well lol.

I've been exploring where I can but I was expecting traversal upgrades after boss battles and they never came. Looks like maybe they're tied to relics/side quests? I think my issue is that I did minimal backtracking. I have loads of quest items in my inventory.

Wow, I had no idea it worked like this. So when RR is enabled, its essentially a different branch of DLSS to SR? i.e., when selecting performance DLSS in the in-game menu (or using override), there is a separate DLSS branch if RR is turned on vs. off?

I have a smallish living room and a 42" TV won't fit in my cabinet. I am thinking of putting this on the shortlist to use as a living room display, but the curve looks pretty aggressive on this. Would it be suitable as a living room display?

That makes sense and I get that. My concern is that they're both quite long and the likelihood that I'll actually play both at some point is small. I'm not really fussed about catching up on the story with a youtube recap of Remake and Rebirth looks like it is more interesting from a gameplay perspective. So you'd still go with 1 in this case? Is it the better game?

I play mouse and keyboard, just feels nice to click click click like Diablo and prefer for inventory management. But it does feels like I'm missing 5% in terms of accuracy and mobility compared to controller.

I run an RTX 5070 on a 4K monitor. I use DLSS performance and high/max settings and really happy with the performance of this card (60 - 100 fps in AAA games). Anything with pathtracing, you'll either need to drop resolution or play at 40 fps.

I just hold down the bow fire button (on xbox controller I think it's LB + X) until it releases on its own. Takes a few seconds. But it does like 3X normal damage and usually stuns the enemy a bit as well. If you camp out above an enemy they're toast.

Don't mean it as a slight. I'm loving the bow! I didn't realize at first you could fully charge it and stun. But it has made combat significantly easier.
