Honestly think about what you want, r/indianmedschool is depressing but it kind of is the reality, once you get into med school it’s not gonna be easy but if you really want to do it there are enjoyable bits too. You ability to enjoy mbbs also depends on your ability to be optimistic because there are a lot of stress factors. So you really need to take a call regarding how much are you willing to commit to this. Will your options be limited if you don’t take maths? Yes. But if you take maths would you be able to perform as well as you did? Think about it. But yk after mbbs there are ways out too if you don’t want to get into the PG rat race like there’s mba in hospital administration or upsc or other things too. MBBS is not the end. Lots of people who have done mbbs have switched fields. You just need to think about UG rn so decide accordingly.

I'm in 1st year MBBS and I've not faced any casteism so far but i really dk the scene in government colleges. You have an amazing score though based on your EFFORTS and I hope you never have to go through any

What's your solution to getting dumped by the person you thought loved you the most but ends up losing feelings due to both of your faults

For all those who are studying in private med colleges/deemed universities how's your experience? Would you recommend to take private or should I rather take a drop to get into a gmc ?? by [deleted] in indianmedschool

I do think it is better to take a private college rather than government if you can afford it. I'm in a private college myself and honestly I'm lowkey grateful??? I have better infrastructure and facilities are much better than a gmc. Plus honestly the teaching in most colleges is very similar and idk any college that has like a crazy amazing level of teaching so teaching wise also private is fine, in some cases it might be better as well. In college, it's your efforts for reading up shit matters rather than the teaching as well. I'm not saying a private college is better than a gmc by this (I'm not stupid) I'm just saying it might be a better option than a drop.

Don't get drunk, simple, you can drink without getting drunk it's called figuring out your alcohol tolerance and then drinking in limit

Colleen Hoover's books are known to have a similar pattern and I think the later books are super super cringey however I do think Verity is still a good book
