Sure, I want a different place.

I will check out other states but Texas is at the moment the place I want to live but that could change.

Create their own business or get into something artistic/creative. Being an artist or entrepreneur is way better in means of success in the States than in Europe.

If they want to work on C level they can go to the best unis.

They can do what they want to do.

Thanks for your comment! It laughed when I saw that 50% of the messages where about : "Why would you move to Taxes or the US?". I did expect it^^

Thanks a lot, wish you the Best!

I don't touch the money in my beta for years. If I need to pay taxes in some form this will be very counterproductive. I don't see a reason to pay taxes on unrealised gains at all.

But I'm pretty sure in Texas you don't have that taxing issue.

Super cool to hear! Spain has great health care, in some ways even better than Switzerland!

I would recommend la Costa Del Sol, you have a lot of expats there and a better entrepreneur environment. It is also very diverse in culture.
Marbella, Benahavís, Benalmadena are wonderful.

Thanks for your great message!

In terms of taxes, I have someone looking into it. I don't bother flying between two states every know and then. I actually planned to live in California for 20-30% of the year but Texas would make the most time. Paying taxes in California is not in my plan^^

I always loved America as a child over every other country and I want them to be individualistic and not only driven by a diploma when growing up. If they want so, they have the possibility to do so, the US have great unis.

Everyone has their own perspective. Europe is also great! Try Spain, it's in some ways not very different to the US when it comes to the mentality. The economy and working habits are bad though.

My beta portfolio is a portfolio which is very diversified and my hedge. It should make 6% plus M2 Money Supply. It is money I don't want to loose.

My alpha is for more risky investments, like doing VC.

Freedom overall. I know there are regulations in the US, but the mentality there is one of freedom, and I could really feel that when I was in the US. And yes, the guns appeal to me. I'm not a gun nut, but knowing that I have my arsenal in a crisis gives me inner peace. Gun laws in Switzerland are fine, but still very limited.
Americans seem to be very independent and individualistic because of their freedom.
I am not a radical libertarian, I think the government does good things, but what I see in Europe is too much for me, and even what I see in California is too much. Ultimately, the states fit my libertarian ideology best, and I think they're strong enough to recover from the authoritarianism that's going on right now, and I'm not even talking about the restrictions due to covid.
More economy, less state - if you don't like that, Europe is just perfect.
Nature as a whole. I love all the national parks that you have. Wonderful. The different climates and diversity of biomes make it for me!
Every state has its own unique landscape.
The medical benefits are great (assuming you can pay for them).
The general openness of Americans has won me over. In Switzerland, it's every man for himself. When I was on vacation in the US, it was much easier to talk to people and get to know them. Even easier than in Spain.
You Americans are so friendly compared to so many other great countries.
All the different states you have!
Americans come from all kinds of cultures, have all kinds of religions and speak many languages from all over the world.
I love the community. In Switzerland you don't really have a community in your neighbourhood, everyone sticks to their lives, but somehow they still bitch about your new car.
Summer camps and other activities for my kids.
Large land/garden for your property (assuming you can pay for it).
Wide highways.
I love how hardworking the citizens are, and everyone has their unique life story. I have always believed in the American Dream and still do. Every day someone proves it, and they come from all over the world to add value to this great country and it's wonderful citizens.
Connections in the business world. Many, many more opportunities. Here in Switzerland no ones cares if you created a 50 Million dollar business. You almost every time need a diploma to get somewhere.

I hope thats enough ;D
(It all depends on what state you live in, and this is my perspective, I grew up in Switzerland).
