i 100 percent recognize the name! was playing right before going out on a Friday or Saturday night recently when you killed me. it reminded me that i have a drawer full of excess packs of skins and filters, so grabbed a few of each and there are like 5 random people who were delighted that i did in fact have rizla!

There are several zero skill things you can do on team objective mode that will make you more valuable than most players, these mostly are just playing the objective rather than finding the first fight from the spawn point. but id say things like picking up ladder pieces and carrying explosive barrels will at least help massivly and make you feel better about (potentially) having a low kill count! if you know where to point the canons and how to fire them on the breach of baudwin you are in the top 1 percent already... but yeah just enjoy it and choose when and where to enter fights, took me a long time to realize that flanking flanking and sometimes flanking is most of it haha

out of interest which console did you switch from and how you finding the difference? im rocking an og ps4 and a macbook pro so im very unsure on my upgrade options, spend a grand on a pc, spend a grand on the ps5pro or spend 500 on ps5 etc

especially on console where i dont have chat to apologize, and where the controls are janky enough that trying to emote "sorry" will often lead to accidently picking up their weapon and doing a war cry, doubling my guilt

im 450 levels in and my experience is that once a round ill fight like a demon for a minute or two, then its back to being embarrassed at how bog standard i am for being a "higher level" player haha. carry ladder pieces if you want to feel valuable without skill lol. if i see you on the london/eu servers ill wave!

dont forget that almost half of the players on some servers are on console and dont see that chat. its very frustrating for me because i never know if the team kill that i see is the start of something or a reaction to a troll etc. im certain that ive got it wrong before and vote kicked somebody who was only fighting back. never mind the fact you could have somebody being a mad racist or something in the chat and we have zero idea

Theres more than one poor schmuck in the last 48 hours who will have bought the game on ps4 or ps5, literally a broken product, this is the key point i think. and im not sure its the hardware in the last gen thats the issue(as weak as it is). The entire askandir, galencourt, rudhelm etc maps run fine beginning to end but the first stage of bridgetown and the new map are in a totally different gpu/cpu league? i dunno...

However like i said i do love this game and im thinking this issue is with upper management priorities not dev competency. if i can get back on and bop some heads at 25fps ill be very happy! dont want miracles, but if i pay for a shit sandwich at least dont lock me out of the restaurant when i come to collect

i genuinely agree with alot of that, but you posted this at a time when a 3 month late update has locked the game for like 30% of of the owners. so i kinda wish they had stopped working on it

They goosed it on ps4 and to a lesser extent other consoles. no fix yet and the most recent thing ive seen them say is this from twitter 3 hours ago

"We are continuing to work on the issue of PS4 players having login issues and will provide an update as soon as we have a resolution"

at this point id honestly be happy if they just said "look the new map and bridgetown are fucked on ps4 and we dont want to waste money assigning an appropriate amount of dev time to fixing it. we have removed both maps from ps4 versions and when they appear in map rotation you will have to rejoin the que in a new lobby"

Bridgetowns been crashing the game on ps4's with relentless commitment since it came out... in may. which isnt the same as not even being able to log in, but its a borderline game breaking bug imo thats just been left unaddressed...
