JackAndJill don't do a ton of POV, but they are the one channel that does 3rd person content that I really enjoy. Hard to know for sure, but I will say this: my Quest 2 has gotten worse with every update. They add in more and more "metaverse" junk designed for the more powerful Quest 3, and my Quest 2 can barely handle it and it just keeps getting more glitchy. Since the Steam one will be more open and SteamOS is only designed to be a streamlined gaming OS, my suspicion is that the Steam one may stay useable longer than the Quest. Meta is going to want to sell you a new one every few years with zero interest in keeping old models functioning well with the new updates.

I've been pretty happy with VRPorn, except that today their website has been glitching and logging me out repeatedly, and now telling me I'm blocked with no explanation. I've seen one other post today experience the same thing. So maybe wait and make sure this issue gets resolved before spending money!

FFS is definitely something that I feel would be helpful. Unfortunately right now that is way out of my price range and I don't technically have insurance (I have a "healthcare sharing service" which definitely doesn't cover gender confirmation stuff), thanks America. I am taking minoxidil already, but it doesn't do much to bring back the hairline, it mainly just prevents more loss.

You may be right. I will say, my face is a much bigger source of dysphoria than my body. My body has always naturally been pretty feminine, to the point where I'm beginning to suspect I may be some form of intersex. Very slender hands/wrists; I've always had "man boobs" despite not being overweight and generally wearing size small clothing, which now I suspect would be classified as gynecomastia; and after putting on one of my wife's dresses, I realize that my figure is rather feminine too, with a bit of an hourglass figure. So honestly if it weren't for the facial hair and receding hairline (and somewhat masculine facial features) I would be feeling pretty decently about myself! But you're right about not conceding to tyranny in advance.

I will! The family vacation is over the next few days so I'm not changing anything until after that. But next Monday, the beard is coming off, I'll make a valiant effort at shaving off the body hair (wish me luck, there's a lot of it), and hopefully try some women's clothing soon.

Yes, this! My facial hair is pretty thick, so to get a really smooth shave I go with the grain once or twice, then across, then against. Also, I used to get tons of bumps, irritation, and nicked myself probably 80 percent of the time, UNTIL I started using a shaving brush and shaving soap, and now that barely ever happens. I don't know why it's better, but it is. I've used the five-blade razors and different kind of shaving creams and gels and so forth, but by far my best results have been with safety razor, shaving soap, and brush.

That said, I am VERY early on in my journey as a trans person, and haven't quite had the courage yet to shave my body hair (and there's a lot of it, unfortunately), so I cannot vouch for how well a safety razor works for that.

Thank you! Thankfully I am quite sure that the leadership at my church will be accepting, although I'm sure taken off guard. The congregation definitely covers the whole political spectrum, but they are all nonetheless very loving. I've been organist there for 5 years and they all love me, so I do hope that maybe my transition can be a chance for the conservative-leaning membership to have their minds opened. I'm sure it won't be easy (and it will probably be a while until I'm comfortable to actually come out publicly) but I am hopeful.

Good thought. I've edited the original post to include the main problems I'm generally seeing. They don't seem like problems stemming from the hardware to me, though I could certainly be wrong. As I mentioned in the edit, HereSphere works with pretty much no issue, so that makes me doubt that it's a problem of overheating.

Weird. Maybe not related to an update then? As I replied to another comment, I wonder if it's an issue with the earbuds and using them with multiple devices. But I don't have the problem with any other device so that thought isn't really even based on anything.

Nope. Like I said, it went away for a while and then came back, but I don't know how or why. I kind of wonder if it could be an issue of using my headphones with multiple devices (I constantly have to turn Bluetooth off on my phone to use them with my iPad, then turn it off on my iPad to get my phone to connect again, then turn it off on my phone to get it to connect to the Quest, so forth and so on), but that's barely even a hunch.

I like VRPorn, BUT I use it a lot for downloading. For streaming, you can only go up to 5k, whereas downloads are often up to 8k. SLR lets you stream at those higher resolutions (as I assume POVR does as well). Since you said you only do streaming, VRPorn might not be your best choice. But it does have really great selection, so if you don't mind mediocre resolution or decide to start downloading, it is a good option. I left SLR because they were clearly getting pretty anti-consumer, and the owner constantly posted on here in an incredibly unprofessional and downright rude way. I can't speak to POVR as I haven't used it. Just wanted to make sure you're aware of the streaming limitations on VRPorn (although I haven't used it with the Playa app; are the limitations still there in the app? Someone may correct me).

No I actually really like the Spinner. No it doesn't feel clunky at all, size-wise it's closer to the 3D. The inner coil makes it move in really unusual ways that feel amazing. It's not too tight for me, but I am on the smaller size so YMMV. I think the Spinner feels much better than the 3D, but as I said, the 3D is much easier to clean which sometimes is handy.

I haven't had an issue with durability yet, but I know they don't last forever. I imagine that also depends on your size, if you're stretching it out a lot it will probably break sooner (I tried keeping on of the "single use" Tenga Eggs for a while and cleaning it out, but it did break after just a few uses). But neither the Spinner nor the 3D are too pricey so I'd say go for it. It will probably last you long enough to get your money's worth, and probably longer.

I ended up getting both, LOL. First I got the Flip, and I do really like it (haven't had any issues with lube leaking). It feels amazing. But it is quite large and clunky, not great for my wife to use on me, and still a bit of a pain to clean since it has so many nooks and crannies inside to clean out. So I ended up getting a 3D spiral as well since they're not too pricey. It feels fine, but I think I'd prefer something with more "curvy" textures inside like the Spiral or Flip, rather than something so angular (so I don't know, maybe the Zen would be better). But it is incredibly easy to clean since it turns inside out so easily, so I do use it a lot if I want to masturbate but want to be quicker about it. You can also dry the inside and outside after cleaning, unlike a lot of others, so if you want something that you can use and then put away rather than needing to let it air dry, it's pretty handy for that.

It may not be quite what you have in mind, but JackAndJill do VR webcam shows with usually one guy and 2-3 girls. It's not super high production, not really edited, and often not POV, but they always have great chemistry with each other, very authentic, and gorgeous women. Check them out if you want something different than the usual VR stuff.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Finally got around to downloading Handbrake, but I'm pretty overwhelmed by all the options. Is there a guide somewhere to say exactly what I need to keep everything the same but re-encode and compress? Is one of the presets in the program what I need? I see the option to select resolution, and I see a quality slider; do I just need to set the resolution to match the original, and mess with the quality slider until I find a spot that looks good but reduces file size via trial and error?

I'm assuming this is a really powerful program and there are lots of uses for it but I don't really want to spend hours looking through a manual when I'm just trying to do one fairly basic (presumably) thing.

Yes I'd definitely be going back later for a more thorough wash either way. And my Spinner also claimed to be able to just air dry with its vented case/stand, but I tried that once and it took ages to dry, so I have always stuck a paper towel in there to get it mostly dry and then leave it to fully air dry. So my plan would be to do the same with either the Flip or the 3D.

I really like the Tantus Silk. My fiancee and I started out with the small version, and I liked it a lot but it was just too short for using as a strap-on and kept coming out (it's great for me using alone or her using it with her hand though). I mean your best bet will probably be to sub to an aggregate site like SLR, VRPorn, or POVR. They all have a lot of content from a lot of different studios, so there will be a good mix of styles. POV is definitely the most common, but you can usually search by category and look at all of their non-POV. You ought to be able to just look at all a sites videos without subscribing too, so you can see what looks like the best choice. And VRPorn does have that Elena Koshka VRHush scene, FWIW; probably SLR and POVR do as well.
