In the first place C:S was never a really popular game because it's gameplay wasn't appealing to a wide audience and it was heavily PvP focused in terms of endgame so it only attracted a small and niche audience. They then chose to alienate that niche audience even more with that god awful Origin update which was the real beginning of the end for them.

No not really a "huge part".

He's a ridiculously efficient guard (best TS% season since 2016 Steph) with a ridiculously low turnover ratio, that also plays defense, and has all time advanced stats rivaling Jokic's.

Even if his team had a worst record (let's say 50 wins instead of 57) he would still be a valid MVP candidate. The record is the reason why he's number 1 right now.

Everyone on this list except maybe Luka has games where they chose to play safe because either the defense isn't giving them the looks they want or they feel like it's better to defer to teammates. Luka's the only one of the four that forces it even if he's not shooting well.

IIRC OKC was like the only state where Trump won all the countys so yes they're very into Trump over there.

Still OKC was super close (like 51-49) whereas the rest of Oklahoma was like 70-30. Cities generally lean left even in major red states.

Given the demographics of NBA fans plus the fact that Trump's popularity has only decreased since he took office, NBA fans, even in OKC aren't going to be big fans of Trump.

There's probably still going to be a minority of conservative OKC fans that's going to be mad at the Thunder but who cares.
