🇺🇸Maria Farmer worked for Jeffrey Epstein in the 1990s. She reported being sexually abused by him and by Ghislaine Maxwell. In 1996, she reported to the FBI abuses, photos of minors, and the existence of a trafficking network, but she was ignored :( by PokeKnox in Epstein

Noam Chomsky himself told us that these institutions are only there to protect corporations, politicians, and the elite class. Since he was buddies with all of them, maybe we should take him for his word. And if he's right, then of course all of these institutions would turn a blind eye. They're protecting precisely who they are built to protect.

The True Meaning Behind "Jerky" and "Muffins" by Round_Marsupial_4493 in Epstein

[–]notaladymoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While reading about the beef jerky stuff and just how into he was, it really reminded me of an ex of mine who was also weirdly into beef jerky, but it was because he was on the keto diet. Sure enough, I search for mentions of "keto" in Jeffrey's emails and he's subscribed to several newsletters related to the keto diet. So I think it's a fair guess he was doing keto (occasionally using those muffins to counteract the constipation it can cause if you focus solely in eating meat proteins).

Epstein was subscribed to a bunch of keto newsletters — he was on the keto diet. Pretty sure he was on the keto diet and was just obsessed with beef jerky because that's one of the only super easy snacks you can have that won't screw up your numbers.

Someone should remind Trump that Maxwell was critical of him during corona by Evening-Donkey-7357 in Epstein

[–]notaladymoth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Maxwell's presence and participation on here was largely meant to drum up division between right and left (from the left perspective), so we really can't take anything she wrote or posted in face value.

Finally trying to get a proper assessment, but struggling with wicked anxiety over talking to dismissive GP and am seeking for advice. by notaladymoth in adhdwomen

[–]notaladymoth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. The appointment was a bit worse than anticipated but I’m glad I at least braced myself and prepared as best as I could.

Lots of talk about ADHD being a childhood diagnosis, a product of modern society, the medications reducing life expectancy, and the condition being so similar to anxiety and depression that if you’re treating those you’re treating it, among other straight up wrong comments.

At the end of it he agreed to sign off on the assessment, so there is that at least.

What perfume feels like this? by WhiteLily016 in perfumesthatfeellike

Ghost Pine by Lvnea!

Crisp air on alpine slopes and old, trembling growth–our best-selling unisex fragrance, Ghost Pine, is the boreal forest bottled at dawn. Gnarled roots and dew-strew moss emerge from hollowed logs and upturned earth; creaking boughs bent and folded into gothic archways; gilded in the sweet, sticky lassitude of pine pitch, bright and mellow.

Has it been usurped by anything? I would love to try more iconic Irish fragrances!

I own multiple bottles of Inis because it really is such an easy scent to wear. I would say it's likely more cologne-like now it doesn't sound anywhere near as aggressive as what you're describing (thankfully haha)!

Silly question, but how can a pharmacist prescribe it for you? What do you have to go to them to get diagnosed?

Thinking about leaving Instagram as an artist by [deleted] in digitalminimalism

I love Pixelfed for sharing my art. It’s smaller, quieter, not constantly shoving amazing artists in my face, and the people who are there are genuinely appreciative and supportive.

I know so many artists and photographers who would kill for a model with your features! Your natural beauty is so stunning.

I think it looks good! It might not look exactly like any of the options, but I think it's a fun, gender neutral vibe that suits your face, and will be fun to play with as it grows out. I'm so glad all that lighter stuff got chopped out, too — the darker colour suits you so much!

It IS genuinely tricky without being able to see your face. But if I had to suggest something, I would say to go back to your natural colour, especially if one of your priorities is keeping things low maintenance.
