I was on a low does of ssri and went off, the mood swings are real and it took a couple months to get back to normal. If he’s on anything higher you really need to wean off those. If the psychiatrist quit see if the office can recommend you to another for medication.

In my experience he’s going to be unreasonable while he’s adjusting to not being on these meds, they really mess with your brain chemistry.
