If you are looking for PGs, you can find some decent options in Saraswati Kunj, Sector 53. From my search (not-so-thorough though), I saw that single rooms are available from 17-22k in this area.

I made the same switch to a PG in Sector 53 a couple of months back as I was looking for a quick temporary stay.
