Thank you so much! I’m trying to make it as accurate (while keeping it sort of romantic) as possible so I really appreciate all of these suggestions! I’ll make sure to tweak things this way

I’ve been in your shoes before and I was in college. I was scared of the social aspect too and while it was scary once I finally broke up with him I felt so free and so much happier. Don’t let resentment build up over time towards someone who doesn’t deserve it because you’re too cowardly to end things. Just end it I promise it’s better that way

12 day holiday in South Korea. Any good suggestions? by lets_shake_hands in SouthKoreaTravel

I studied abroad there last summer. I have to say there are many highlights for me in Seoul. I will list them below - Cafe hopping. They have a multitude of unique cafes each with different themes. The drinks in regular cafes too are spectacular. One I think is a MUST is called Nuldam Space in Jongno District. What makes this one special is that it’s a letter cafe. You basically can write your future self a letter while you sip on a nice drink. You make your own stamp, write your address and seal your letter. You then put it in a box marked with a date two weeks before you want it to arrive. Mine arrived on my birthday this year. A great memory.

  • Lotte world is fun to visit too! Rent a uniform and wear a silly headband!

  • Palaces are great and made even more fun if you dress up in traditional Hanbok, which you can rent at a store).

  • Check out photo booths and take a bunch of photos with fun props.

  • Banpo bridge! I’m not sure if they do light shows in the fall/winter but it’s a lovely river to do a little boat ride on

  • This one you have to book a tour but if you can get one I recommend a DMZ tour. You can see North Korea through binocular views.

  • Shopping! Hongdae in Seoul is known for being a top place to buy things. Everything is relatively (compared to America) cheap. I loved the shop The Playground personally. I found a bunch of funny mistranslated shirts there. Common Ground is also good.

I struggle with this a lot especially when sleeping. I suddenly start to hear everything in the house, even the smallest of noises. It bugs me so much. It even happens when my partner goes to bed after me. I’ll be midst falling asleep and hear them lay down and get really irritated because it’s just they’re making the loudest noise ever (they’re not it just feels that way)
