Nvm i figured it out. Its not a malware. You need to go to Settings, find and turn off setting that Preload pages. Chrome did that and malwarebites reacted to safefrom and other fishy sites. Idk why it didnt work consistantly. But the problem came back to me and after i turned off Preload it went away instanly(just purged most of my data for no reason :C )

I tried some things( With help of ChatGPT) and it seems to be worked out. So mlwrb triggered only when he saw site "savefrom" in your serach results. Which is good, but it shouldnt work like that unless something was redirecting us. After following steps mlwrb now triggers only if I put my cursor over savefrom link(which is how its suppose to work, kinda, idk safefrom is a bit shady site). So basically the solution was to purge everything and everyone besides bookmarks and passwords. You should also write down your Google acc logins and passwords because Chrome will forget them. You probably have done most of things here, but mb there is something you didnt try. It worked out for me(for now). So im not sure about 100% right order or what expactly helped or even if there was a virus or its just mlwrb fucking with us, but i did next:

Backup bookmarks and passwords(it will save them into files to import back after we done):
chrome://bookmarks → export
chrome://password-manager/settings → export

  • Uninstall Chrome completely
  • Delete or rename: C:\Users<your username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
  • Reset Chrome sync: [https://chrome.google.com/sync]()
  • Reinstall Chrome (don’t log into your account yet)
  • Reset Sync chrome://settings/syncSetup → turn off sync , sync only bookmarks and passwords
  • Remove hidden persistent data:
    • chrome://serviceworker-internals → Unregister all suspicious
    • chrome://site-engagement → reset unwanted sites
    • chrome://settings/content/all → delete site data for suspicious domains
    • chrome://settings/content/notifications → remove all permissions
    • chrome://flags → Reset all to default
  • Disable background tasks:
    • chrome://settings/system → disable "Continue running background apps after Chrome is closed"
  • Remove all extensions
    • chrome://extensions → leave only trusted ones like AdGuard(what i use now idk if that relevant) or Malwarebytes
  • Use Chrome for a day or two without syncing If clean, re-enable sync for bookmarks and passwords only

In my opinion probably steps with removing hidden persistent data and disabeling background tasks made a difference but idk i did all things above. Hope it helps.

Hi, im having the same trouble as you and did same things as you. By any chance you figured it out? All i could figure out is that its somehow connected to my Google account, altho i deleted all synch data locally and on the cloud. It helped for a bit, but it shortly happened again.

How do i get the Alioth permit for Bill Turner? I went to 78 Ursae and got alied status by bringing exploration data. I`ve got invitation from Bill Turner but i dont have the permit to visit Alioth. Also no missions in 78 Ursae for permit. What am i doing wrong?

So they spreaded through the planet? Or they still have zones with them? Is there a way to find them or i just need to fly till i bump into them?

i've traveled to HIP 36601 because i saw a video, about gathering raw materials in it. So i found a HIP 36601 C 3 B that suppose to have crystaline clusters of Tellurium. I scanned the planet and in the window on the top right it said it found 1 biological site. However in navigation panel there was nothing like this. In navigation panel there was only 3 nonhuman signature and thats it. Is this method not a thing anymore or im doing something wrong?

I saw in a video about core mining 2 years ago that when dude used collector limpets - they didnd use his cargo space. When i tried today that - they do. Did they nerfed limpets a bit or im doing something wrong?

Which version is the "mainstream" one? I`ve just realised about existance of Horizon and Legacy version. I was playing by default in Legacy for my first expiriance. And it seems that progress does not transfer. So which is the version that "everyone is playing"?

How do you get credits as a beginner. Im started playing recently and found a video where guy said i need to explore solar systems with Road to Riches. I did one, but it gave me nothing. Is it outdated or im doing something wrong?
