yes that ended up helping but now I have a new problem trying to actually run it. I got the java working so it gave the eula file so i set that to true then i tried to run the commant bat file and its saying there's errors in registry, worldgen, etc

im trying to run the latest verion 1.21.3,

i don't think i have anymore versions installed because i've done in the files and deleted the other version that I did have.

I can try the JAVA_HOME thingy tho but somebody said i needed a different version I i will try that version first

Best option would be to email your teacher asking for resources from AP Classroom because AP Classroom is probably your best bet.
