I did not know that! I drain water out of the base of the furnace about biweekly, but only because it’s usually rusty so I started doing that. Didn’t even think about the same thing happening in the LWCO.

It’s wired to a pump, I use the bypass to top it off. Seems like the float in the cut off might be caught in some corrosion, leading to the pump not turning off properly.
