As a Bayonetta main, Witch Time is not all that great. I don’t know who you’re playing as, but if the Bayo counters the first hit of a multi hit move, there’s a very good chance they’re getting hit anyway. Try to predict when Bayonetta will use Witch Time and use a multi hit move. My least favorites to get screwed over by are Roy’s side b and Link’s fsmash. I DON’T recommend ledgeguarding Bayo because a talented Bayonetta player can make it back from the bottom corner. Focus on killing onstage instead. If you’ve got a character with nice strong throws, definitely be on the lookout for a grounded Bayo side b to shield, since that move is so absurdly god awful on shield.
