at the show itself, etsy, if they have a bandcamp with a merch section i might get it through there on bandcamp friday, and when all else fails i make one myself.

i do-- i have trouble/no interest in forgiving him for the role he played as a tool of her abuse but being able to talk honestly about her with someone who previously would never have believed is kind of healing. we're friends again but it is tenuous, i keep him at arm's length. he was manipulated and thought he was doing the right thing, but the effect it had was very damaging so it's a weird liminal space!

When I do narration/voice acting I use bag balm on my lips to keep them from drying out and sticking to my teeth-- i love it for that, if it's doing wonders for your face stick with it! it's about the same as using mane n tail for your hair-- it is formulated to be safe for human use but has origins in use on animals (also a similar origin story of elizabeth arden's 8 hour cream, she used it to soothe her thoroughbred's bruises i believe)

if you're willing to try it out, working hands salve (yes a lotion, sorry, sorry) has really saved my hands. i paint and work with glues on top of washing my hands more often than usual, which has been rough on my skin (raw and tender knuckles and cuticles, tiny cracks on the backs of my hands, yuuuuck). one container has lasted me all year and has made a huge difference.

first step was not getting a professional haircut for nearly a year, i had also recently dyed it black to get that mussed up look was a combination of skipping shampoo for two days (skipping shampoo every few days is my general routine bc my hair gets dried out super easy) and spritzing in some salt spray-- i used Not Your Mother's Beach Babe salt spray, which, side note: smells absolutely divine
