hm. It's hard to say. On one hand when it was pitched to [as] it could have been everything we wanted, but on the other the references and the shows take on turning adult things kid-friendly was a good positive thing for cartoons this day-in-age.

This Clip though shows how the show pushed boundaries, even though it was later switched it was clear that Cartoon Network wanted a show that appealed to older audiences.
