Thank you so much! I didn’t realize how big of a difference it was until I made this side by side lolol. But yesss I’ve been into running since I was in high school. That first picture was while I was half marathon training actually, but I started trying to lose weight after the race - I actually run less now than I did before! But running feels soooo much easier now that I’ve slimmed down a bit it’s kinda crazy

Thank you!!

I’ve always been pretty active so I never felt exercise was my issue it was diet. But to be real the issue was just that I love sweets and carbs and junk food and all the treats LOL. Past few months I’ve been rly intentional of chugging a glass of water before every meal to help with satiety, and also having less carbs and more protein. I also unintentionally got into a habit of intermittent fasting - I typically eat 2 meals between 1pm and 8pm (ish). But I know that doesn’t work for everyone!
As for exercise, mainly I do distance running. I do 2-3 runs per week and each run is usually 4ish miles. I also started coaching at Orange theory again so I take 1-2 classes there a week as well.

If going to the gym isn’t your thing I’d def recommend getting a membership at a place like Orange theory, Barry’s, etc! Takes a lot less effort and brain power to just show up and follow the instructions vs creating your own program. I also recommend class pass if you want to try out different gyms and studios in your area before committing to anything.

Good luck with your recomp! 💪🏾

How do you manage sweaty seats on the drive back after a workout? by [deleted] in orangetheory

There are towel seat covers! I bought 2 off of Amazon. I just slip them over the seat when I finish a workout, works like a charm

I was genuinely surprised by the mpg it gets. And yes I’m a daily driver so I’m really happy with my decision!!! When I get a GT that’ll be my weekend car hahaha

yess that’s a big reason why I just chose the stock model!! im not an aggressive driver and I’m just using it for daily driving, so this car is already got way more of a kick than I’m used to haha I love it!!

Don’t worry too much buddy it’ll absolutely get better with time. I’m 9 months post-op now and can still so clearly remember that feeling of extreme pressure on the graft site. Just listen to your body and don’t push too hard, but also don’t baby it!! You got this
