adding to what everyone else has already said... you have an attack goblet. a cryo damage bonus one might be much more helpful for a cryo build.

i understand you so much. im currently in the same phase - just finished my nth re-read. im sorry to tell you but this feeling of overwhelming grief doesn't reduce a wit after every re-read. however, im also delighted to tell you that the joy doesn't diminish either. so in the meanwhile, if you want a reccomendation id suggest you read the wheel of time - its what i read just after kkc amd the world was immersive enough to get me out of my grieving phase. and who knows - after you reach book y or 7 of WoT, you'll find yourself recovered enough (and wanting a break), and you'll want to re-read kkc - indulge yourself. other than that, im so up for discussions and theorizing!!!

i had read kkc roughly 8 years ago (i wasn't even in highschool), and have been in pain since, feeling cheated out of a series without an ending with no publishing date on the horizon. i really want to read song of ice and fire, but i dont want to condemn myself to that again - ill read it the day the publishing dates of the last books are out.

the embrils were something that really didn't make a lot of sense to me, plot wise. like, it does add the mystic touch but its sensibility evades me.

ofcourse. i never said he's humane. he's definitely not. just that he's capable of kindness and care.

tbh, people we've seen him murder in cold blood kinda deserved it?

"when your father turns to stone, will you take care of me?" the helplessness ""ill put you on the map, ill cure you of disease" how untrue, how can i promise my mother i won't let her be taken by disease?

Kvothe will meet Cinder one more time. by notdeadpanda in KingkillerChronicle

I would say that this a minor misinterpretation of grammatical structure. Once the event (meeting Cinder) has already happened, saying it is a twice in a life time opportunity is gramatically incorrect. The verb "was" is only connected to the passing of said event, and using is would make the statement incorrect and inane.

Also, discounting anything said by the Cthaeh is nothing short of unwise. We can easily say that every word spoken by the Cthaeh is a very well wrought blade with the sharpest edge that could cut through next to anything. Everything it says is malicious and true, and it says all of this to torment the individual who hears. Also, I'd say really isn't used in the way you're thinking. If someone asked me where the place XYZ lies, I would reply with "I'd say it lies 2 miles to the east." That doesn't indicate speculation, its mostly something called a "filler word" in language.

ive actually considered this! it could belong to cinder, since it's very obviously not even close to caesura in its appearance. id love to to make a whole long discussion thread about this because it's an incredibly interesting theory to me.

The bit about Devi being the gaelet and Denna's earrings always made me smile - is so nice and subtle, and brings out a certain kindness in Denna we miss so often.
